Not the result we wanted but unfortunately anything better was not possible due to contact at the first corner dropping us off the front and unable to fight for the last World Final ticket.

2026.
A season that was about so much more than racing.

Mindfulness
Hypnotherapy
Sleepless nights.
Countless tears.
Self-doubt.
Low self-esteem.
Grief.

A little boy who began to question himself and the sport he loves.

But through it all, he kept showing up. He kept fighting.

And somehow, through one of the toughest years of his young life, he finished P8 in the British Kart Championships.

This year wasn’t about trophies or podiums. It was about rebuilding a little boy who had lost his confidence. Finding his belief again. Learning to trust himself again. And proving that even when things feel impossibly hard, you can keep moving forward.

P8 on paper. But, perhaps his biggest achievement yet.

One last race in micro before the jump up to Mini 💪

Arlo won the race on track, and 100% deserved to, but unfortunately could only stand on the second step of the podium after receiving a penalty for a tram line infringement at the start. Arlo was struggling to see in the rain and from the spray being kicked up from the kart infront, two wheels left the tramlines, he realised his mistake and corrected his position, but a rule is a rule.

To say he was heartbroken afterwards would be an understatement.

It’s been a tougher year than it should have been, with plenty of knocks along the way. But through it all, we’re incredibly grateful for the people around Arlo who have been there to pick him up, remind him what he’s capable of, and slowly rebuild the confidence that had taken a hit.

Sunday hurt, but seeing him back out there fighting, believing in himself and winning on track means more than any trophy.

Thank you to everyone who continues to stand behind him. 💙💛

Unfortunately the final was lost on the first lap, but what a come back to 3rd and fastest lap, before penalties dropped Arlo back down the order.

Credit to all the Micro’s for keeping it on the track in the rain, on slicks ☔️

The Rotax Max Challenge International Trophy is underway at the iconic Le Mans Karting International Circuit in France, bringing together around 400 of the world’s best drivers from more than 45 countries for one of the biggest events on the international karting calendar.
The week begins with testing and practice, giving teams valuable time to fine-tune their setups and drivers the chance to learn the circuit. Official practice continues through Wednesday morning before the pressure ramps up with qualifying on Wednesday afternoon, where every lap counts towards the starting order.

From Thursday, the real racing begins with a series of qualifying heats that continue into Friday, determining who progresses to the Super Heats. Saturday features the Super Heats before the weekend culminates in the all-important Finals, where the 2026 RMC International Trophy champions will be crowned.

Fun weekend Karting Genk 🇧🇪for the 3rd round of the BNL Karting Series managed to keep Dan Holland Racing busy all weekend with two new chassis changes and lots of new parts 🤣🤣🤣 DHR certainly know how to rip a kart apart!

Wishing all at Dan Holland Racing a better weekend in Genk than Arlo had!

Awesome weekend at for the 3rd round of the Ultimate Karting Championship where Arlo finally started putting it all together!

Confidence is slowly being rebuilt, there’s still a lot of work to be done but we are seeing more and more of the happy Arlo again and it’s starting to show on track.

To all the people that have helped Arlo over the last few months, THANK YOU! It’s been a difficult year so far, but everything finally seems much more positive
