Just a quick reminder that there is no Younger Juniors class today.

Our Ladies Only and Senior classes will be running as normal.

All classes on Wednesday and Thursday will also be running as usual.

We are delighted to announce that three more of our female members have successfully passed their GB Boxing Standard Awards.

All three did exceptionally well during their assessments, demonstrating the skills, determination and commitment they have been developing during their time with us. We are incredibly proud of how far they have come.

One of the best things to see during our ladies classes is the encouragement and support they give each other. They celebrate each others progress, help each other improve and create such a positive environment where everyone feels supported and motivated to do their best.

The introduction of the Boxing Awards has also given our members something extra special to work towards, setting goals for themselves and giving them the satisfaction of seeing their hard work pay off. It is wonderful to see their confidence grow alongside their boxing skills.

A huge well done to all three ladies on a brilliant achievement. Keep up the fantastic work, keep supporting each other, and keep smashing those goals 🥊 👊🏾💥

On Thursday evening a group of our junior members completed their GB Boxing Awards Assessments, with two being assessed for their Standard Awards and five for their Preliminary Awards.

It is an absolute joy to see how much these young members have improved during their time with us. Watching their skills, confidence and determination grow makes us incredibly proud, and we can’t wait to see them continue their boxing journey with Pyramid Boxing Club.

A massive well done to all seven of you for your hard work and commitment. Keep believing in yourselves and keep striving to be the best you can be 🥊

Another busy week at Pyramid Boxing Club 🥊

What a week it’s been for our boxers.

Monday

We travelled to Sturminster Newton Amateur Boxing Club for their monthly inter club sparring evening. These sessions are always a fantastic opportunity for our boxers to gain valuable experience, build confidence and continue developing their skills in the ring. A big thank you to everyone at Sturminster Newton ABC for having us.

Wednesday

Our boxers headed to Tough Love Boxing for a training session with the highly experienced Tony Smith and Clive Gadd, and they certainly got put through their paces. A brilliant opportunity to learn, push themselves and take their boxing to the next level.

Thursday

We were delighted to award another of our junior members, Cooper, his GB Standard Boxing Award. Cooper is going from strength to strength, showing massive improvement in his boxing and continuing to impress us with his hard work and dedication. He thoroughly deserved this achievement, and we couldn’t be prouder.

Well done to everyone who has represented the Club this week. It’s fantastic to see our boxers learning, improving and supporting one another. Keep up the hard work everyone 🥊

Pyramid Boxing Club travelled to Frome ABC today for their home show, where Leo Kennedy stepped into the ring against St Piran’s Oakley Rockley.

Leo started strongly, pushing Oakley onto the back foot and making great use of his long range shots.

In the third round the St Piran’s boxer came out strong and really tested Leo, but Leo stayed composed and continued to use his range effectively to secure the win in what was a fantastic contest between two very talented young boxers.

A massive well done to Leo on a superb performance and a big thank you to everyone at Frome ABC for putting on an excellent show.

On Wednesday evening, four of our ladies successfully achieved their Standard Boxing Award.

All four demonstrated outstanding skill throughout their assessments and put in a fantastic effort from start to finish. A huge congratulations to you all. Your hard work, commitment and determination have certainly paid off.

Pyramid Boxing Club would like to say a massive well done to Harrison and Hugo on achieving their Boxing Awards.

Harrison successfully passed his Preliminary Award, showing that all his hard work and studying really paid off.

Hugo demonstrated exceptional skills throughout his assessment, putting everything he has learned into practice and doing a fantastic job.
