Regulating our nervous system isn’t always the first thing we think to do when we’re feeling overwhelmed!

Many of us pour a large 🍷, distract ourselves, keep busy or simply hope the feeling will go away…

But overwhelm isn’t a sign that we’re failing.

It’s information.

It’s your nervous system letting you know that something needs your attention.

And when we can meet that feeling with a little compassion instead of judgement, something begins to shift.

We create a little space.

A little breathing room.

A little distance between ourselves and the thoughts, emotions and sensations that are demanding our attention.

From that place, it’s much easier to find clarity, perspective and the next step forward.

Overwhelm isn’t the enemy.

It’s an invitation to pause, listen and come back to yourself.

New puppy alert! Callie has come crashing into our lives bringing more joy and fun and sweetness than I could ever have imagined. It’s been awhile since we lost our last darling doggo, and she has reminded me of the chaos of new love, the chaos of puppyness, but with it comes so much joy. But it is also a big reminder that whilst the heart can open hugely, boundaries around self, boundaries for the Dog, need to be maintained. I think this reflects our lives quite well - when we are passionate about a new endeavour, a new person, a new project, we can sometimes lose ourselves and lose our own boundaries so this week’s Meditation is around that opening the Heart yet keeping hold of your boundaries.

The Laws of the Universe will give you so much wisdom and assistance in stepping through life and everyone loves BUT there is a large and vital step in this law that is often forgotten! Just having pretty and positive thoughts is a great first step but we must take some aligned action. We can’t just sit back and wait - much as we’d love to… What can you do today that is an aligned action towards your goal?

The Laws of the Universe give us clear guidance as to how the energy that we are all a part of works, how it influences and touches our lives. And once you understand these laws life becomes a little easier to manage and understand!

The Law of Correspondence starts that your inner world will be reflected in your outer world - we LOVE being right and so the Universe likes to help to prove this. If you believe that you always fail or aren’t worthy of happiness, the Universe will correspond by proving you right!

Shift your inner beliefs and the outer world will shift with you. How do you do that? Well, that’s where your inner work comes in… Get in touch with me to learn the language of energy and the language of your body!

Remember, you hand everything you need already inside - you just need to clear all those crappy inner beliefs to get to the gold!

The Universal Law of Vibration states that everything is energy, and energy is constantly moving, and has a frequency. So everything - rocks, the chair you’re sitting on, the trees, your thoughts, - are all in constant motion. Vibrating at a frequency.

And the Universe is really quite straight forward, in that it will simply meet you at your vibration. The higher the resonance you hold the closer you are to the frequencies of the good stuff like love and gratitude, and the lower vibes take you towards emotions like fear and doubt.

Do you have a choice in what your vibration will be? I’ll let you decide that one..! But you know that you can recognise a good vibe when you feel one.
