Southampton Model R/C Car Club

Southampton Model R/C Car Club We are a 1/12 RC Oval Racing Club that race alternate Sunday Mornings throughout the year. we race 1/12the scale models based on the mardave V12 series.

Due to the lack of r/c car clubs in Southampton, we decided to get a group of people together to create a regular race meeting. We race on sunday mornings at Otterbourne Village hall indoors on a carpet track with in perimetered with plastic box section. We try to alternate between circuit racing on a 8mx14m footprint and a standard oval track 6mx14m with a 2mx10m island. If you are interested in participating, please join this group & please feel free to spread the word amongst your friends, family & work colleagues
We are a club with members of all ages. There is a very friendly atmosphere and everyone is willing to help anyone who requires assistance in setting up the car or carrying out emergency repairs between heats. If you require any further information please contact us.

Come and join us every other Sunday Morning from 8am at Otterbourne Village Hall!

We race 1/12 (Oval Specific) model stockcars, including:

🚗 2L Saloons
🚗 1300 Stox
🚗 Mini Stox
🚗 Brushless Hot-Rods

Whether you're a racer, a hobbyist, or just love motorsport, you'll find a great atmosphere and competitive racing (There is always someone on hand to help newcomers too).

Food and refreshments available, together with a selection of spares at meetings too.

Nice to see some HOTS drivers in attendance today, together with the usual regulars that managed to get there 1/12 Oval Racing fix this morning.

Shoutout to the season Winners 📣 (Silverware has been ordered 😜)

As always, thank-you to the track helpers that assist with setup / takedown as-well as the stand in Marshalls. If everybody does there bit, it makes things easy 👍🏻

I believe we also had a number of new Personal Bests today, so another shout out to those drivers too 😅
