Another season of rugby, fun, friendship, new skills and building confidence is underway, and it’s brilliant to have our returning players back, as well as welcoming lots of new faces to the club!

🏉 HELP TINY REACH £3,500 💙

This is Tiny Bailey, one of Southam Rugby’s Walking Rugby players — and his story is quite remarkable.

After open-heart surgery and losing an incredible 34 stone, Tiny has set himself another huge challenge: taking on the Wolf Run to raise money for Cardiac Rehab Rugby.

He’s already raised £945 towards his £3,500 target.

We’d love the Southam Rugby community to get behind him. Whether it’s £5, £10, more if you can, or simply sharing his story — every bit of support will help. 💙

🏉 Fantastic news for Southam RUFC and our wider community!

We are delighted to announce that Southam Rugby Union Football Club has been awarded £100,000 from the HS2 Community & Environment Fund.

The funding will support the development of a new covered community veranda and the replacement of our Klargester system, helping us provide more sheltered, welcoming space and reliable infrastructure for our growing Club and wider community.
This is an important step in our plans to strengthen the Club for the future and continue developing it as a place where people of all ages can participate, connect and come together.

A huge thank you to everyone who has helped us reach this point. We look forward to sharing progress as the project develops. 💙

Our U12 squad are back in preseason training and have returned in strength as we look ahead to another great season at Southam RUFC! 💪

The weather and conditions might be proving challenging, but that won’t stop the team. The squad are adapting, working hard and continuing to develop their skills ahead of the new season. 👏
