Silsden Riding Club need your help! Do you have an older/younger (min 14) brother or sister/ parent/grandparent/niece/nephew/friend at home that wants to earn a few £ and get a yummy butty for dinner! We are looking for ring stewards for the July 5/7 and September 6/9 shows.

It’s £2 per person paid on the gate and all funds raised go to helping care for our residents and rescue ponies in need🐴

What a fabulous day for our 3rd points show of the year! Points are so close in some classes ✨

We have had some amazing competitors on the field today for a long day showing with another mixed bag of weather!!
Sunshine ✅
Rain ✅
Wind ✅

In our Team Rothvale showing ring the GG Rosettes mini championship saw a fab line up of our up and coming competitors
Mini Ridden champion: Nola WG and Withymead Cognac
Reserve champion: Lottie Reynolds and Thistledown Unchained Melody
Mini Inhand champion: Nola WG and Withymead Cognac
Reserve champion: Thea Wheater and Cayberry Red Beret

The 101 Construction ridden championship saw a mixed line up of young and older (slightly) competitors forward.

Reserve champion: Caroline Ainley and Raemoir Saviour

The The Secret Drawer Ltd Inhand ring was a very busy ring this am with fab combinations coming forward.
The Appleyard Motorcycles championship was well attended

The Danskin Saddle Fitting was in top top condition with our new jump kindly provided by the Secret Drawer. It caught a few out this time!
The Kruger Saddlery championship brought forward the winners from each class

Reserve champion: Elinor Hannon and Warrackston Little Jet

The Baffles Dog Field showjumping ring was the busiest we have had it in a while with everyone supporting each other cheering on those who gave something new a try! We showcased our new fence donated by local business MMM Medical Equipment where Annie and Elinors Nana worked.

We couldn't make these days without the support of all our sponsors, judges and stewards. Wendy Halstead showing us what efforts stewards go to for a good photograph 🤣

🏅Sunday Showday🏅

We’re excited to see you on Sunday for our third points show! Here’s a few things to remember for the day:

🐴 You MUST bring your horses passport or proof of vaccinations from a vet. Horses must have had either a yearly up-to-date equine influenza vaccination or the first two primary vaccinations. Please present your horses vaccination proof at the entry hut BEFORE taking your horse off the box. If your horses vaccinations are not up to date or you do not have the proof you will unfortunately be asked to leave the show.

🐴 This Sunday’s show has qualifiers for Veteran Horse Society so get your golden oldies looking their best!

The class will be judged with the VHS mark sheet.
The Silsden class will be placed to begin with for the points. Following this competitors will return to the line and then placed within the VHS age categories - Diamond Veteran (25yrs +), Veteran (20-24yrs) & Pre-Veteran (15-19yrs).

🐴 On the show ground please don’t take any horses up the side of the jumping ring near the entries hut, there is a walkway on the other side of the wall for all horses.
