Just a quick update for all Burts adoring followers, he is well on the road to recovery from a nasty eye condition. We are treating him three times a day and have been since the 27th April so its been a long and expensive job however the priority is for him to make a full recovery. I am not going to add up his medical bills they will be huge - just know that he is getting the very best treatment possible and hopefully he will be able to return to work for the summer season. Please note that there is an outbreak of equine flu confirmed in the New Forest, please be aware that this is a really serious condition and can be easily transmitted. Please do not approach the wild ponies. If you are in the New Forest please do not wear the same clothing when coming back to our yard. Whilst all our horses and ponies are fully vaccinated no vaccine is 100% guarentee that they will not be made unwell. Thanks Pat
