anyone got any ideas to get rid of hores flies they are worse than usual at the moment

Given that the temperature is going even higher than originally predicted we have cancelled lessons tomorrow from mid day. I have contacted all affected riders for Monday it is likely that Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will also be affected, we will trial hacking in the woods if we feel it is an option we may offer that as an alternative. Do contact us if you want to discuss your bookings. Pat

During hot weather our horses will be standing in cool stables, they will be only working for an hour each and cooled straight after work before returning to the shade. Ridden work will be moderated to more technical work with less work at speed. Please make sure you stay well hydrated and bring your own sun screen to lessons. If you have a medical condition that might mean it is unwise for you to ride please give us as much notice as possible we do have a short notice cancellation policy so please keep an eye on the forecast and make a sensible decision for yourself. Delighted to announce that Somerset Council have approved our application for a second arena the builder will start on the 1st July we will have a 'grand opening' hopefully early August if all goes to plan : Watch this space for announcements

Just a quick update for all Burts adoring followers, he is well on the road to recovery from a nasty eye condition. We are treating him three times a day and have been since the 27th April so its been a long and expensive job however the priority is for him to make a full recovery. I am not going to add up his medical bills they will be huge - just know that he is getting the very best treatment possible and hopefully he will be able to return to work for the summer season. Pat
