An amazing season finale for our U14 Girls, representing Shepton in the national finals in Nottingham for the very first time.
In a tough opening game they were defeated 2-0 by eventual champions Surbiton before a second loss against Repton, a game from which they deserved more.
But they maintained their good spirits and defeated Marlow in their final pool game to finish third in their side of the draw and set up a 5th/6th play off against Brooklands-Poynton (from Manchester).
They fell behind in the early stages but stormed back to win 4-1 and a secure 5th place overall.
An excellent day and huge thanks go to all who travelled, coached and supported the team.
