🥊 May boxer/s of the month 🥊

🌟 Senior boxer of the month : Taylor
Taylor was one of the first members to walk through the doors and has been a real asset to the club ever since. We’ve seen massive improvement in his boxing, and he has shown great discipline in adapting and developing his style. This hard work has really paid off, particularly in his recent sparring sessions where his progress has been clearly evident.

🌟 Junior boxer of the month: Lily
Lily shows excellent determination and focus in every lesson. She is improving week by week and continues to put in consistent effort. We’re really looking forward to seeing her continued development in the future.

See those of you this evening and if you fancy getting involved in the World Cup sweepstake fundraiser, bring a bit of cash along👊🏻

Big love, Round House Boxing Team 🫶🏻

As a community boxing club, we believe our impact goes far beyond the gym. We are passionate about supporting our local community and using boxing as a tool to improve both physical and mental wellbeing.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, a time to highlight the importance of mental health and the support available to those who may be struggling. It’s also an opportunity to have open conversations and break down the stigma surrounding mental health.

Yesterday, Ben and Ross visited the Mind Wellbeing Hub in town. Mind is a mental health charity that provides advice, support and services to help people experiencing mental health challenges, while also campaigning to improve mental health support across the UK.

Ben and Ross spoke to a room full of attendees about the positive impact boxing can have on mental health, from building confidence and resilience to reducing stress and improving overall wellbeing. They answered questions, gave everyone the chance to hit the pads, and then took a handful of the group over to the gym for a tour and a closer look at what we do.

A huge thank you to everyone at the Mind Wellbeing Hub for having us. We’re proud to be part of a community that recognises the power of sport in supporting mental health.

We’re proving that boxing is about much more than throwing punches, it’s about building stronger minds, stronger bodies, and stronger communities🥊

Following on from the success of our first win at the weekend, one of our amazing sponsors, Pawel- owner of Trybull Cleaning continues to support the club by donating a pair of sparring gloves each month to a carded boxer who has really stood out.
This month’s gloves go to Archie, whose hard work and dedication in the gym have been outstanding. We’re hoping to see him stepping into the ring very soon for a skills bout 👊🥊
A huge thank you again to Pawell and Trybull Cleaning for the continued support! 🫶🏻

🥊 April Boxer/s of the Month 🥊

🌟 Senior Boxer of the Month: Rian
We challenged Rian to develop a more positive mindset in his boxing and allow his natural talent to flow; and he’s done exactly that. His resilience and determination over the last month has helped him grow into a stronger, more confident boxer. Well deserved 👏

🌟 Under 16 Boxer of the Month: Archie
Archie has shown outstanding development over the last month. Since getting carded, he has produced impressive sparring performances and continues to improve every session. The hard work is clearly paying off 👊

April also marked our 6th month as a club, and seeing our boxers grow, change, and develop in both skills and confidence has been brilliant to watch. Watching them walk through the doors every session with the willingness to learn and improve makes us incredibly proud of what’s being built here!

See those of you for sparring tonight!

What a night for Round House Boxing Club 🥊

Last night in Bristol on the Sweatbox show, Reggie stepped into the ring against Sweatbox’s Ollie and made history by winning the club’s first ever official bout, a huge milestone and the beginning of an exciting journey for the team.

Both Reggie and Ollie showed great skill throughout the bout and battled hard every round.

Couldn’t be prouder of the hard work, dedication and heart Reggie showed in the ring. A performance full of courage and determination from start to finish.

This is what the club is all about, and hopefully the first of many victories to come. Congratulations Reggie — enjoy the moment, you earned it 👏
