🔥 Finals day at the Teesside Box Cup! We had Lukas in his straight final today. He was a bag of nerves bless him and up against a giant as shown in the 1st photo! 📸 Though in the same weight, this lad was a mountain! 🏔️ pretty much sums up the uphill battle of the weekend to be honest.
Lukas gave it everything—grit, bravery, and heart. But today, the other lad was just too big, too strong, too sharp. Still, Lukas is our little legend—he’ll learn loads from this and go on to huge things. 🚀 We’re so proud!
Big shoutout again to Ronan and Vinny for their amazing efforts this weekend. We knew the open class would be a tough mountain to climb, but we fear no one and love a challenge! ⛰️ On to the next challenge!
Huge thanks again to the Teesside Box Cup for an amazing, well-run event, and to all officials, coaches, boxers, supporters, and everyone who made it happen! 🙌

🔥 Teesside Box Cup action today with our champs Ronan, Lukas, and Vinny! 🥊 Lukas heads straight into tomorrow’s final—can’t wait for that showdown! 💪
Today, Vinny took on a much bigger opponent—went the distance, lost a unanimous decision, but left everything in the ring. 💥 Huge heart, big shots—nothing but respect. 👊
Ronan jumped in, giving away experience, fought a cracking first round. Sadly, he doctor stopped the bout early in the 2nd due to a nosebleed. But the effort—absolutely top class! 🌟
This was an open class event—no cap on experience—so we threw them in deep, and they swam! 🌊 So proud of these lads. And we’re back tomorrow with Lukas’ final—let’s go! 🏆

Mixed night for the club yesterday, both Stead brothers were in action again. Young Lukas picking up a good win in a return bout from our show, kept a good pace throughout and showed a good example of how important good quality straight punches can be. It wasn't Ronan's night, but as always gave us 100% and kept going until the final bell. Coaches Nathalie and Cameron picking up some experience as well. Thank you to Ethan and Vinnie for coming and supporting their gym mates 🥊🥊
