Tyneside Golf Club Tyneside Golf Club is the oldest inland club in the North East of England; formed in 1879 and still It's not only our history that we are proud of.

We boast a challenging though enjoyable 18 hole layout which is renowned for the quality of its greens and which resists extremes of the elements remarkably well. Perched on the "Falls" of old Ryton Village, our club is tucked away in peaceful surroundings, a short drive from Newcastle City Centre and Newcastle International Airport. Our somewhat "secret" location has not prevented the club's reputation spreading far beyond the banks of the River Tyne.

๐ŸŒ๏ธโ€โ™‚๏ธOn Wednesday 10th June we welcomed Bellingham GC to Tyneside.
Our good form in the Hadrian League continued with an 8-4 win. Two games went down the last and were narrowly lost to a one down margin.
Bellingham are a great bunch and we wish them well for the remainder of the season.

๐ŸŒ๏ธThursday 11th June saw a great 10-2 win for Tyneside against Whitley Bay in the N&D League.
At the halfway point of the season, we are 10 points clear at the top of the table.

๐ŸŒ๏ธโ€โ™‚๏ธOur Hadrian League visit to Matfen Hall on Wednesday 17th June resulted in a 7-5 loss. However, our league position is still very healthy and this squad has the depth and desire to bounce back next week in our home fixture against Ryton.

๐ŸŒ๏ธOur first maximum of the season in the N&D League last night.
A magnificent team performance to beat Gosforth 12-0.
Everyone played their part and produced some excellent golf on the night.
This results cements our position at the top of the league but we now move into the last 5 fixture, of which 4 are away from home.
I know that as a group, we will embrace the challenge and give it 100%.
