Tyneside Golf Club Tyneside Golf Club is the oldest inland club in the North East of England; formed in 1879 and still It's not only our history that we are proud of.

We boast a challenging though enjoyable 18 hole layout which is renowned for the quality of its greens and which resists extremes of the elements remarkably well. Perched on the "Falls" of old Ryton Village, our club is tucked away in peaceful surroundings, a short drive from Newcastle City Centre and Newcastle International Airport. Our somewhat "secret" location has not prevented the club's reputation spreading far beyond the banks of the River Tyne.

Our Hadrian League Team Visited Slaley Hall for our final away game.
We lost the game narrowly 7-5 to a strong Slaley Side, who currently sit to of the Hadrian League.
We countered their team with our own very strong line up. At this stage in the season, we believe it is our duty to turn out as strong a team as possible.

There were some notable performances, at the end of the match, made doubly difficult playing the last 3 holes in loosing light conditions.
Our final game is against Northumberland GC next Wednesday.

Our N&D League travel to Whitley Bay this Thursday for our final game, knowing that we have been promoted, but needing a few more points to secure the league title.

Massive congratulations to Zac Anderson on qualifying for the European Junior Open Finals Week in Estepona, Spain, this November.

First staged in 1993 and now in it's 34th year, it is widely considered as the toughest test in junior golf across Europe.

Zac qualified after an impressive 76 gross at Otley Golf Club on 17th July.
