Fairfields Farm Riding School & Livery A family-based Equestrian Centre on the outskirts of Ryde. ​We are committed to providing a safe, supportive environment for riders of all levels.

Fairfields Farm riding school and livery is a small and quiet yard based on the outskirts of Ryde on the Isle of Wight. We are surrounded by beautiful countryside offering many downland hacks and beach riding. We are licenced by the Isle of Wight Council (Ref LIC/24/1375/RIDEST) and are fully insured. We offer a fully personalised service catering for all ages and abilities. Including horse riding lessons, hacks, birthday parties, pony days, camps and other horse activities and experiences.

🏆 THE FINAL SHOW OF OUR SUMMER SHOW JUMPING SERIES!

It’s nearly time for our final show, and there are some super sachs and rosettes to be won this Sunday, 13 September 2026.

Our shows are open to all ages and abilities, and if you are a regular with us, then you are welcome to hire one of our ponies.

Whether you’ve been competing throughout the series or this is your first time joining us, we’d love to see you there for the final!

Private 1:1 and semi-private lessons, 30–45 mins
After school/work: 3.30pm, 4.30pm & 5.30pm
£27.50 per hour

Wednesday
Advanced lessons with Robert Booth, 3–6pm

Thursday
Private 1:1 and semi-private lessons
Back in the Saddle Adult Hack, 11am–12pm
After school/work: 3.30pm, 4.30pm & 5.30pm

Saturday
Group lessons and hacks from 9am
Private 1:1 and semi-private lessons

Wow, what a fantastic result for our riders today! 🐴👏

Our riders were out showjumping at Briars Barn in Roud, competing at an event organised by Vectis Equestrian Club.

🏅Sienna & Freckle came 3rd in the 50 cms class

🥇All riders competed in the 60 cms class:

- Lottie & Myrtle 1st
- Sienna & Freckles 4th
- Archie & Polo 5th
- Coral & Bluebell 6th

We were then treated to brilliant riding from Lottie and Candice, with amazing turns and agility, and two super clear rounds in the 80 cms and 90 cms classes, winning both classes.

Well done to all our riders; we are incredibly proud, and all your hard work is paying off ⭐🐎

Just a reminder: our final showjumping show in our summer series is on Sunday, 13th September. We hope you will join us.

Huge congratulations to everyone who took part in our show yesterday. You all did so well and we witnessed some brilliant riding with some tough competition.

FINAL WEEK OF THE SUMMER HOLIDAYS!

Can you believe we’re already at the final week of the summer holidays?! Make the most of the sunshine, fresh air and time in the saddle at Fairfields!

We’ve got a fantastic week planned with something for everyone:

Highlights include
🐴 Tues. 25th August – Combined Pony Day, 11am–3pm – £40
🌿 Wed. 26th August – 3-Hour Adventure Hack, 9am–12pm – £65

Plus, Group lessons and hacks, private 1:1 and Semi-Private lessons (30–45 mins) available throughout the week, along with Pony Club activities and our Thursday Adults’ Back in the Saddle Club!

Whether you’re looking to improve your riding, enjoy a holiday hack, keep the kids entertained or simply spend some time with the ponies, we’d love to see you!
