When I say I support maximum ROM training, I MEAN maximum ROM.

(Always work through the largest range of motion biomechanically appropriate to you for the given exercise, under control and tension, to elicit maximum muscle fibre activation, especially during warmup sets like the above).

Some people might see other coaches/trainers as competition - smart people see them as fountains of knowledge.

Nobody ever knew everything, and you are a fool if you think that you have nothing to learn from someone.

I massively appreciate talks like this with anyone, especially like minded coaches and mentors; discussing client applications, the difference between people mentally, physically, biomechanically; the science of training and nutrition, etc.

Listen; digest; analyse; apply.

Birthday present from my wonderful , after a reschedule from September!

159mph down hangar strait, not that I'm terrifying but I overtook about 9 other cars and even the instructor said I was that fast he was enjoying it 🤣

I think the reality of what I've just done will take a few days to run in, but the dream of driving a McLaren has come true, now just figuring out how to ste... Afford one.

3rd place, and arguably more importantly a finals medal, but nothing special here. Not yet.

That said, this is still 5 shows (and the Arnold classic) that I prepped for, peaked for and stepped on stage for. That's a lot more than most critics who are just dreamers.

Thing is, it's not about winning. It's about bringing the BEST version of you that you can in that moment in time. For me it's never been about beating other people, it's been about setting an example to myself of my ability to adhere to a prep, and latterly that I can self-prep myself through a show (and make the finals).
