Weekly roundup 💜

Pretty much the same as all weeks, gym, PT’s, check ins with clients, work, dog walks and cuddles. Went out Friday night for dinner with my friends but also a client. We had a fab evening. Then the wellness festival as you well know!

What a weekend! 💜🪽🎉

This weekend, I attended the Wellness Festival at Detling Showground as an exhibitor for the very first time.

Over the two days, I was surrounded by so many incredible businesses and inspiring people, all with their own unique stories about how and why they started their journeys. It was amazing to be part of such a supportive and positive community.

I had the chance to meet new faces, catch up with friends, clients, and past clients, and have countless conversations about health, fitness, and wellbeing. It was so busy that I’ve completely lost my voice! 😂

I’m incredibly grateful that, even before the weekend had finished, people have already been in touch about online coaching and 8-week training plans. The support and interest shown in my little business has honestly blown me away.

Right now, I’m feeling proud, grateful, and a little overwhelmed, in the best possible way. An early night is definitely on the cards!

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by for a chat, took part in the grip strength competition, or simply showed their support. I genuinely appreciate every single one of you, and I look forward to working with many of you soon.

The winners of the grip strength competition will be drawn over the next couple of days, so keep an eye out for an update! 💪🏻

It’s a huge wellness festival with so much going on, much bigger than I thought.

I regret to inform you that there is no end goal when it comes to getting in shape.

There isn’t a point where you tick the box, collect a medal, and go back to your old habits.

The body you want is built by the habits you keep.

If you’re only willing to eat well, train hard, and look after yourself for 12 weeks, don’t expect results that last longer than 12 weeks.

Fitness isn’t a challenge you complete. It’s a standard you choose to live by.

The sooner you stop looking for the finish line, the sooner you’ll start making real progress.

I haven’t done a great deal this week except, work, gym, walk, eat, sleep and repeat. I did play netball and ventured out yesterday for Katy’s birthday in Whitstable. We had a fab time and danced our socks off. I’ve had a bit of a sore head and some recovering to do today! 😭

Client Spotlight Ren 💜🎉

Ren and I met completely by chance last September, but it didn’t take long to realise she was someone special and someone I had a connection with.

Despite already being a seriously strong and an experienced CrossFit athlete with incredible endurance and work capacity, her nutrition wasn’t matching her training. Around 70% of her diet was coming from fats, so we set out to create a better balance while continuing to build strength and performance.

Since then, excuse the pun, she’s gone from strength to strength.
✅ Down around 6kg
✅ Leaner than she’s felt in years
✅ Strength maintained and improved
✅ Unlocking movements she’s been chasing for a long time

The addition of structured resistance training alongside her CrossFit has been a game changer. It’s complemented her engine, power, and athleticism perfectly, allowing her to perform at an even higher level.

What impresses me most, though, isn’t the weight loss or the numbers.

It’s her mindset.

Ren is an absolute machine. Even when injuries have tried to slow her down, she’s never looked for excuses. She adapts, stays consistent, and keeps showing up ready to work. Week after week. The results she’s achieved are a reflection of that attitude.

I’m incredibly proud of everything she’s accomplished so far, and honestly she’s a joy to coach and be around.

I think we’re only scratching the surface of what she’s capable of. Keep watching this space amazing things are coming for her 🚀💪🏻
