In today's World Curling Annual General Assembly in Bratislava, Slovakia, Beau Welling, (United States) was re-elected as President for another four-year term. Robin Niven (Scotland), Karen Wauters (Luxembourg), and Roselle Gonsalves (Canada) were elected as Board Directors for four years.

Wales ended the round robin on 3 wins, 2 losses and in third place in the group after a spirited win against Finland (10-1). Wales needed a combination of results to go their way but ultimately missed out on qualification to Australia by 1.66cm on the draw shot challenge averages! Good luck to Austria and Australia who qualify out of the Group.

A powerful Welsh performance with two superb ends of curling put Wales into an 8-2 lead at the halfway mark. In a controlled second half, Wales closed the game out 9-5. Next game is the last of the round robin against Finland at 08:00 BST Thursday.

A dominant performance from Wales ensured their first win of the championships. Wales took a 7-0 lead against France and went on to close the game out 9-1. Next game is Sweden at 19:00 BST Tuesday.
