🏃‍♂️🔥 Sale Sizzler 5 km 🌟

After a successful year of studying and becoming a Doctor, Issy and I tackled the Sale Sizzler 5 km hosted by . Starting on the track with over 600 runners, we paced the first 1 km at a solid 3:43 pace! The course had its twists and turns, finishing with a fast 350 m on the athletics track. 💪✨

Despite the hot and muggy night, we smashed a solid 19-minute 5 km! Plus, Issy just wrapped up the 70.3 Ironman at Bolton just 10 days ago. Youth and recovery powers - respect! 👌

Next up: Stockport 10 km! 🏅

🏃‍♀️✨ PB Day at Leeds 10 km! 🎉

First race of the block for at the Leeds 10 km, and she has laid down the foundations with a massive 3-minute PB and a course PB of ⏱️ 4 minutes 17 seconds! 🎖️👏 What makes this achievement even more impressive is that she’s balancing the challenges of training and motherhood with a young child 👶. Being a parent can definitely impact our energy and emotional reserves, but Lorna is proving that determination can overcome any challenge! 💪❤️

Over the past month, we’ve been focusing on structured speed work, and her commitment to the sessions is truly evident. 🌟 This is just the beginning of her journey toward the .marathon.half.10k.tri Chester Marathon later in 2026. Let’s keep progressing, Lorna! 🚀

⏱️ Lighting Up Leeds 10km! 💥

Kicking off the block with a bang! 💥
crushed the Leeds 10km with a stellar finish of 33:53, averaging 3:23 min/km 💨- smashing his sub-34 goal! 🚀 That’s a whopping 29 seconds off his PB from Blackpool Beaverbrooks 10km just a month ago! 🏃‍♂️💨

A super committed athlete and a passionate and respected coach at , he truly deserves every success. Excited for our next training block and hitting some big goals together! 💪✨

🌟 Big day out for Issy at the Bolton 70.3! 🌊🚴‍♀️🏃‍♀️

Last weekend saw Issy tackle the Ironman Bolton 70.3 course head on. After a solid 34-minute swim 🏊‍♀️ in the choppy waters of Pennington Flash, she emerged in a strong 8th place in her age group. The bike 🚲 course, spanning 56 miles through Greater Manchester, was tough with wind, but after fueling well, she powered through, finishing in a stellar 3 hours 17 minutes 🚴‍♀️💨

The final 13.1-mile run 🏃🏻‍♀️ featured challenging ascents, but as an experienced runner she paced the half marathon perfectly in 1 hour 38 minutes, bringing her total time to 5 hours 39 minutes and securing a superb 9th in her age group 🙌 🏃‍♀️

Race day was relatively cool, with temperatures ranging from 9°C to 16°C, adding to the challenge both on and off the bike. The weather made the bike section particularly demanding, but those weekly BRICK and bike sessions paid dividends. 🔥💪

🏃🏻‍♂️ 1st AG at Dorney 1/2 🥇

Always great to see Danny pinning a number on and getting stuck in at the races! 🎉 After some tough recent races at the Brighton Marathon and the Marlow 5 Miler—where he finished in an awesome time of 32:09 (4 min/km) ⏱️—we knew the pace and muscular endurance was there. 💪

Taking on the iconic Dorney Lake 1/2 Marathon, he ran a fantastic 1:31 Gun Time ⏳ in not-so-favorable conditions, battling a headwind on the way back to the finish.🌬️

A man with a similar mindset to myself of ‘getting it done’ 💥—it’s always great to catch up and see him at the pointy end of races. 🏅

We Train, We Race! If not, what’s the alternative? 🤔 Let’s Go!

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Manchester AJ Bell 1/2’ 🌧️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

With an 8am start, we were kindly greeted with overcast and slightly cooler weather than the previous weeks’ heatwave. 🌤️ The Manchester AJ Bell isn’t a pure PB course with 100 metres of ascent and, on the day, a strong headwind in numerous stretches. 🌬️

However, both Matty and Lucinda showed their fitness and muscular endurance over the 13.1 miles, making the most of the favourable temperatures and supportive crowds, with both landing exceptional PBs! 🎉👏

It’s been a great start to 2026 for both athletes, and I can’t wait to see how they perform with other races incoming! 🏅✨

🏃🏻‍♂️ Post Run Brew ☕️ ! Before sipping away at my well deserved cappuccino 🔥 I was flicking through the 📖 …… Food and Drink section and Men’s Health…….’Look it’s me!!!!’ 🤣🤣🤣 Always great to work and speak with Keli and I must admit my diet and gut health has certainly got better. I’m no saint in that regard but gut health is definitely a performance factor in aerobic performance. An easy win which requires little physical effort, just good food choices. 🥦 🍇 Now where’s my Lotus Biscuit gone? 😂

🌟 Exceptional in Edinburgh 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Huge congratulations to Liam for his outstanding performance at the EMF Half Marathon! 🏃‍♂️💪 Battling through 23-degree heat, he kicked off the race at 8 am, greeted by cooler temperatures that quickly heated up.

After a dedicated training block, demonstrated his incredible fitness and executed his race tactics perfectly, achieving a remarkable 19th place finish out of 10,000 participants! 🎉 He crossed the finish line in just 1 hour, 15 minutes, and 3 seconds, averaging an impressive 3:33 min/km.

This comes off the back of a stellar start to 2026, with some top results, finishing 🥈 in the Kilomathon (45:38) and 🥇 in the Meadows 10km (35:18). Balancing work and family life while maintaining such focus and commitment to training is no small feat. Massive kudos 🙌🏅

🏊‍♀️🚴‍♀️🏃‍♀️ Swim, Bike, Run… Southport!

Issy took on the brilliantly organised Southport Triathlon and blasted around the course in a rapid 2hrs 57 minutes, taking 🥇 first female in the Open Category!
The Standard distance event includes 3 disciplines: 1500 m lake swim 🌊, 43 km bike 🚲, and a 10.5 km run 🏃‍♀️ to finish. Southport, located next to the beach 🏖️, means athletes can be greeted with the warming sun ☀️ and soaring temperatures or be hit with strong winds 🌬️ coming off the Irish Sea. This year was no different! Strong winds made the bike and run legs more arduous than normal. For to hit the last transition and hold pace with just over 4:15 min/km run splits is a super strong way to finish! 💪

A few more spicy events in the pipeline, including the Regents Park 10km 🏅 and Bolton 70.3 in June! Let’s go! 🌟

🏃‍♂️Ripping Up Riga! 🇱🇻

Jack was in Latvia last weekend after a solid block of training, aiming to join the Sub-3 Club ! 🎉 After executing a perfectly paced race in the country’s capital, he finished hitting his ‘A’ goal bang on the nose in…

⏰ 2 hrs 59 mins 31 secs! 🔥

After smashing a PB at the windy Cheshire 1/2 Marathon in March with a time of 1 hr 27 mins, we knew the speed and muscular endurance were there. 💪 It was all about building that endurance for another 21.1 km!

This result is an absolute testament to determination and consistency throughout the training block, regularly completing 4-5 runs a week along with additional sports and training stimuli. 🏋️‍♀️

A massive result and one to be cherished 🏆
