It is with deep regret that we heard today of the death of Willie Quinn.
Willie, along with Desi, started a football team in Portrush in 1967 and played for the team for many years.
He was a founding committee member when our current club started in 1984 and was heavily involved with the club right up to a number of years ago when his health began to fail.
He was a coach at the Portrush School of Soccer and formed the first Youth team at the club. He was also the caretaker at Parker Avenue for nearly 10 years.
The club extends its sincere sympathy to Willie’s wife Teresa and all his family circle.
