Joe Carr's scorecard from his course record on the Dunluce: a 68 (-6) in the 1952 Irish Amateur Open Championship.

Carr reached 5 of the previous 6 finals in this event, but despite this qualifying round course record, would be knocked out in matchplay soon after.

Eight years later, he would win the Amateur Championship at Portrush.
