โซ๏ธ๐ก THANK YOU โซ๏ธ๐ก
With the dust now settled on our 25/26 season we would like to recognise the huge contribution made over the last few years by members of our coaching and management staff.
Coaches Richard Hopkins and Rhys Corcoran along with Team Manager Alex Holland and his Assistant Team Manager Seb Holland have decided to take a break from rugby for the forthcoming season.
Between them as Taibach players theyโve amassed a huge number of appearances, scored many tries and achieved captaincy of the club. As coaches and manager their work with the senior side over the last few seasons has mirrored that work effort and commitment. The hours put in for preparation, training, games and organising kits, events and tours is huge. They have been through some tough times on the pitch in recent seasons, but kept us going and have moved the squad forward. Even with playing retirement threatening, they have stepped onto the pitch and put their bodies on the line for the team when needed. Squad numbers have grown, wins have followed and the spirit is strong. Our players responded and with a healthy mix of experience and youth the foundations for the seasons ahead are strong.
All at the club wish to thank them for their commitment and efforts over the years. We wish them well for the future and look forward to seeing them at the plough during the new season. Their commitment, work rate and presence will be a huge loss and they leave big boots to fill. Thanks for everything lads, it is truly appreciated by all.
Senior XV first aider and kitman Colin Bowditch is also hanging up his first aid bag and retiring. Colin has been a stalwart of the club for many years and we thank him for his commitment. Colin can hopefully watch the games in a more restful way next season. Thank you Colin for looking after the boys and all you have done.
