A new SWCA individual high score record (play-cricket).

A truly outstanding innings from Bipin Shah, who produced a remarkable 249 against Merthyr CC.

Coming from just 110 balls, with a strike rate of 226.36, Bipin’s knock included 11 fours and an incredible 26 sixes.

Even more mind-blowing is that there were still 15 overs remaining when he was dismissed, who knows what number he might have reached if he had stayed out there.

What more can we say about Bipin Shahi? An absolutely extraordinary innings of 249 and another afternoon rewriting the Baglan CC record books.

🏏 249 – highest individual score in Baglan CC history
💯 First player to score a double century for the club
🤝 226-run partnership – a new club record
💥 26 sixes in a single innings
📈 865 runs from just 11 innings this season
🔥 Helped Baglan post 435 – our highest ever team total

The numbers are incredible, but more than anything, Bipin has made the whole club incredibly proud. What a season he’s having.
