Today’s Dorset U18s Girls training was focusing on pre-competition warm up/preparation and how to productively use a practice round to help with an event. The girls focused on club selection, where they would ideally like to position the ball, potential pin positions and experimenting with different putts/chips. Perfect practice for those playing in Junior Open next week ⛳️

A soggy start for the U18 Girls today working on shot shaping and different ways to change the ball flight. We then focused on landing zones and club selection at the chipping green, experimenting with use of bounce on different ground condition.
We finished our day with a fantastic session with Performance Coach, , discussing team work, fear and anxiety and how we can use different techniques to improve our mindset on the golf course.
Lots covered during the day with great focus from all the squad!
