This is an excellent opportunity to support our Adventure Centre and social enterprise Via Ferrata Cornwall to deliver our operations and staff recruitment. This role will see the right candidate becoming the link between customers and BF Adventure, ensuring a five-star experience.

The job entails…

👉Managing the booking process for BF Adventure and Via Ferrata Cornwall groups and individual customers, including school/youth groups, members of the public attending adventure days out and corporate groups.

👉Ensuring the smooth operation of catering, hospitality and housekeeping services across BF Adventure and Via Ferrata Cornwall.

👉Leading and supporting with the recruitment of team members across the organisation.

The balance of responsibilities will vary throughout the year.

📅The closing date for applications is 31/7/26 (or when all available vacancies have been filled).

📌We take safeguarding very seriously. An Enhanced DBS check will be required.

Happy Friday! 😀Today we're celebrating the success of one of the amazing Young People we have the privilege of working with, who's overcome barriers by taking on our Via Ferrata activity, which was created by our social enterprise Via Ferrata Cornwall and is also open to the public.

Involving scaling our quarry walls, tackling high wire bridges and zip-lining, this unique adventure is particularly great for helping engage and push the boundaries for the range of Young People we work with. Having a resource that enables Young People to set and achieve their goals, whilst overcoming their worries really helps their confidence improve.

When Jen joined us, they were excited to try the Via Ferrata but initially very nervous about doing it. After first building a rapport with their Instructor, they were able to build up to eventually hanging off the bridge! Their interest in the activity enabled a number of conversations about how to keep yourself safe and developing a range of coping strategies they have since been able to take into different settings.

How great it is to be able to work with such an amazing group of Children and Young People!
