Sorry we've been a bit quiet on here, we've been making the most of our half term break! But while we've been away netball season has still been going, and in big news the Vitality Roses cohort for 2026/27 have been announced 🌹 What a line up, but are there any names you're wishing had made it?!

As some of you will know, Jill is Scottish so she is patiently awaiting the Scottish Thistles call up 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 she's got her fingers crossed for Niamh McCall, Iona Christian and Hannah Leighton all appearing in the NSL currently.

Well, what a fabulous night of netball 🙌🏐 A great turn out and everyone played brilliantly. Tonight we did some work on communicating with your team and you can see it lead to some amazing dynamic play!

Hello, and welcome to Penrith Netball Now!
We thought it was time to reintroduce ourselves and help you get to know the faces behind our lovely little club. We are Maureen, Nicky and Jill and we are your admin and management team for Penrith Netball Now. With assistance from England Netball we hope to bring you fun and enjoyable social netball sessions and a chance to make new friends on court.

Maureen is our main contact for all things admin so if you have any questions about joining us or your England Netball registration please see her contact details in the info bar above.

Myself (Jill) and Nicky are your session leads. We are umpires in training and do our best to train out some useful game play hints and tips, but mostly we are there for a good time and to support you back on court.

Whether you played as a child and want to get back on court, or are recovering from injury or even want to start for the first time all are welcome at our little club and we hope to see you on court soon!

Winter blues?

Too many evenings in front of the Television?

Come and join us on Wednesday nights at Penrith Leisure centre for a fun hour of sociable netball , 8-9pm . Haven’t played for years no problem. No commitments, just pay weekly, £5 per session as you attend. Come and give it a try, you will be made very welcome. Current player age range 16-74.
