Cohort 6 started this week and today was their first session with me ~ ๐—ฃ๐—ถ๐—น๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ฒ๐˜€! ๐Ÿ’ช

They were joined by a few familiar faces from previous Healthy Hearts groups too, which made it such a lovely session.

They absolutely embraced it ~ loads of laughs, lots of movement and a brilliant atmosphere. I loved teaching them! ๐Ÿฅฐ

Our final session together tonight and we finished with band strengthโ€ฆ and they absolutely smashed it! ๐Ÿ™Œ

A few of the group couldnโ€™t make the last class, but those who were there worked brilliantly ~ lots of pulling, pressing, lifting, strengthening and plenty of laughs along the way too. ๐Ÿ˜

Itโ€™s been such a lovely group to work with over the last few weeks, building confidence with Pilates and strength work and showing just how much you can do with simple, manageable exercises.

And I rather love that the words behind us in the photo say โ€œBe the best you can beโ€ โ€” pretty perfect for this lot. โค๏ธ

I only sent a couple of messages out about our PureStretch by Candlelight Charity Event and every single place has already gone! ๐Ÿฅนโœจ

On Sunday 20th December, weโ€™ll be coming together at Sunbeams Music Trust for a gorgeous candlelit PureStretch session, with all proceeds going to support the wonderful work they do. ๐Ÿ•ฏ๏ธ๐Ÿ’›

Iโ€™m absolutely delighted that itโ€™s filled so quickly ~ thank you so much to everyone who has booked.

That simply means working one side of the body at a time and itโ€™s such a brilliant way to challenge your balance, core control, stability and strength.

You might suddenly discover one side feels very different to the otherโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ˜‚ Thatโ€™s completely normal, and exactly why unilateral work is so useful. It asks your core to work that little bit harder, highlights any imbalances and gives us lots of lovely opportunities to focus on control rather than rushing through movements.

Weโ€™ll be mixing familiar Pilates exercises with a few unilateral twists throughout the classes this week; plenty of options as always, so you can work at the level that feels right for you. ๐Ÿฉต
