Some points on the board. FINALLY! 😮‍💨

A huge 5-1 win at the home of football this morning as we finally beat New Brancepeth after the 30th time of playing them this season. 🤩

We went in 1-1 at the break but dug in second half, played some great stuff and created any amount of chances. 3 brilliant team goals, a direct free kick & arguably the greatest goal scored in Sunday league history (more on that in another post) ensured we kept the 3 points in DH2. ☄️

A great shift all round & a huge thanks to the New Brancepeth WMC FC boys for coming back to the boozer afterwards. 🍻

Tough night at The Ranch. 😬

A 2-0 defeat to West Rainton FC, but huge credit to the lads. Two games a week with only 11/12 players has taken some serious graft — thankfully, the midweek games are finally done!

Special mention to “The Cat” Tom Ellis, who pulled off some cracking saves, including a penalty stop, to earn Man of the Match. 🐈‍⬛🧤

Still no Jack McRobbie, no photos… so naturally, we went with a cat. 😂

Sunday’s result. No gaffer? No problem 😏

A depleted squad and management team meant that James Blackburn had to take the reins for the lads on Sunday & boy did he deliver. We’re into the hat for the next round after seeing off a stubborn Langley Park with some good stuff played & 4 goals to boot. ⚽️

First game of the season ends in a narrow defeat for the boys in blue. It’s always a hard slog against the Aycliffe lot. That lack of cutting edge on the day cost us dearly but every defeat is a lesson learned. Massive congrats to Charlie Adamson scoring on his league debut 👏🏼 we go again on cup duties this Sunday ⚽️
