Great little tournament today, the girls played brilliant for the first time together with new players, and stepped out of the comfort zones trying new positions. Thank you to the wild cats for helping us out with numbers you all played excellent 👍🏻💚

Birtley Town Tornadoes are very happy to welcome Paul Thompson to the team as coach 💚 Paul is a part time Foundation Phase Coach at the Academy of light so will be a brilliant asset to the girls and Birtley Town FC, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience.💚⚽ First training session last night with Paul and trainer of the week was given to our hard working Paige💚

It was a hot one but well done to the Tornadoes at today's tournament. Thank you to Dionne and some of the U9 Wildcats for coming along to join us, your skills were appreciated! We hope you enjoyed it!!

Our end of season celebrations last night were great fun as always with this crazy bunch. All the girls have played their socks off this season and made us all extremely proud! 3 additional trophies going to Esmay, Sally and Molly, 3 committed, skilled players 💚 Extra emotion saying goodbye to our coach Claire Rolston. 😭We really hope to find a new a coach for this lovely team so that we can be celebrating together again next year!!!🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

The girls loved meeting Newcastle United Goal Keeper Grace Donnelly today, who started out at Birtley town. 💚 it clearly motivated them as they played a blinding friendly afterwards 👏🏻👏🏻 well done to the future women footballers 🥰
