The Limpsfield Club

The Limpsfield Club The Limpsfield Club boasts excellent facilities: 16 tennis courts (7 floodlit), 6 squash courts, badminton, table tennis, mini gym & a well stocked bar.

For over a hundred years Limpsfield Lawn tennis Club has been proud of being the best family club for miles around. In the early days we played only tennis and, for a few years, croquet. Now, we also enjoy squash, racketball, badminton, table tennis, short tennis, short mat bowls, zumba, taekwon-do, pilates and much more. (Though no longer croquet !) We also have a well stocked bar , sky TV, and a modern spacious dining room and now a modern mini gym. We are now known as The Limpsfield Club.

Limpsfield 2 got a 3-1 win against Oxshott 3 in their final match of the iPadel summer league. There were some nervy times with very tight matches going all the way to 3rd set champ tie breaks!

Finishing 3rd in the south East Men Club A league, we might get a lucky loser slot to the iPadel Finals…

Our women’s Limpsfield 1 team were back in action vs Byfleet 3 in the Surrey League. A 2-2 draw after some long matches but an honourable winning draw with a set in hand.

The final Grand Slam of the year has already got underway in Flushing Meadows. Showing in week 1 (Fan Week) is the qualifying to the main draw and the Mixed Doubles event. 1st round singles matches start Aug 30th.

Limpsfield’s Ollie Midmore competed in the Horsham Spinners 2 star open this weekend with 2 resounding victories over the number 1 & 2 seeds to take the title!

Ollie seeded 3 took out Elias Amin from Middlesex the no.2 seed in the semi 3/0 & in the final beating Kenzo Boulton the no.1 seed from Essex 3/0.
