introducing our new street dance classes! 🪩

by request of our current students, we will now be offering street dance classes for 8-11 year olds on Wednesday evenings, 4-5pm.

this term, we will be focused on all things Descendants!🐉💫 expect strong and bold choreography, with lots of opportunity for self expression.

whether your dancer is naturally outgoing or a little quieter, they’ll be encouraged to find their own strength in this class.

today we taught contemporary dance Norwich Yoga Festival and had the best time !!

I am so grateful for every opportunity to share dance with others - but especially in such a kind and joyful place like this.

Today we had our last weekly classes of the year! ⭐️

Thank you to all the parents, students and friends that make The Space what it is today. Your support and kind words mean more than I can express.

Our classes may have ended for the year but we still have our retreat and pop up classes happening over the summer break. If you would like to get involved, just ask!

PS. how talented are these dancers?! I received three beautiful hand made cards, all with the kindest words inside🤍 what little artists they are!☺️

Kira, founder of The Space, will be teaching contemporary dance to all ages across both days of our Kids Summer Dance Retreat!

Kira is a contemporary dance practitioner specialising in mindfulness of movement. Passionate about creating calm, meaningful works of art through dance, kira strives to create sensory-inclusive spaces where both neurodivergent and neurotypical dancers feel welcome, supported, and free to express themselves.

Since graduating from , Kira has been sharing mindfulness-informed dance with children across North Norfolk in schools, educational settings, and the wider community.

If you’d like to dance with Kira this summer, we’d love to welcome you to our retreat.

⭐️ we are performing!! ⭐️

Did you know our dancers will be performing at the Belfry School Summer Fair?

Our amazing students will be showcasing their hard work at 12:00pm. everyone is welcome to come along, watch, and support them!

I’ll also be teaching a free taster workshop from 11:15am–11:45am, open to the public for any children (or parents 🫢) who would like to give our classes a try.
