Game called off after this downpour and hail. It didn’t last long but the ground was unplayable after.

Well last night’s cup match was a wash out after the heavens opened and then it turned to hail. Although 10 minutes later and it was brilliant sunshine unfortunately the captains had called it off. Sad thing was we were 14 shots up at that point 😡

Fantastic opening day with a very good turnout and excellent weather. We had a fun competition eventually won by Kim & Roger. This was followed by a buffet and some very lovely cakes made by Jeff. Thank you to everyone for supporting this event.

Bowls club outing to Potters Resorts for the 2025 World Indoor Bowls Championship. Fantastic day out with some wonderful people, great food and entertaining matches. Thank you to Jean for suggesting and to Jayne for organising.
