PIERLESS and PERFECT

Party on the pier this Monday (June 8), to celebrate Cromer's most famous landmark on its 125th birthday.

It's been washed away twice, split in two by a rogue barge, and damaged several times by tidal surges and freak weather.

It's still here.

On Monday, the iconic pier is the star turn; hosting live music, street performers, drinks, food and more.

Entry is FREE. The fun starts at 4PM until 7PM.

THE CAR WASH IS OPEN!

Give your motor a makeover this Saturday, June 6, as the Overstrand Village Car Wash kicks into action.

It costs only £7 for a car or van and you can grab a bacon buttie and coffee while you wait.

All monies raised go back the village!

The Car Wash is open from 8am to 3pm.

A long hot meeting but we got there in the end.

Thanks to everyone who turned up to make their case and argue for a slice of the OT pie.

Now we all need to do is start refilling the coffers!

First up: the car wash this Saturday.

If you can lend a soapy hand, head to the White Horse on Saturday.

And if anyone would like to volunteer to collect tombola prizes for the Summer Fair, that would be fabulous.

The Overstrand Village Sports Field is the destination for a day of classic races and family fun, this Bank Holiday Monday, as the legendary village sports day races into life.

The running order features some absolute classics, including: the Sack Race, Egg and Spoon, Three-legged, and wheelbarrow.

There's also a tombola, as well as stalls, music, a licensed bar, and cakes.

It's great day out for all the family! Don't miss out!
