All of our junior classes have support from our coaching team, which means students have more opportunities to get help and feedback.

Not only this, but it means our students have opportunities to learn from different members of the team. A lot of our coaching team also assist/train at different PKA locations, so they can provide different insights! 🥊

Lots of great hard work taking place in our juniors class! 💪

We run 3 different age group classes for juniors so all students can work in an environment with a team that is appropriate for them.

This means they all get the correct level of support from our coaching team - our reception class getting more 1:1 support and our older juniors class getting more independence to have fun and burn off school stress 🔥

Hard work in our adults class as they do some conditioning 💪🔥

This conditioning work allows us to improve our kickboxing skills, and also just our body for daily life! Training our core can give us better balance and stability, which can help prevent injuries when we everyday things like lifting heavy items.

It can also improve your lower back muscles, which can become stiff or sore if you spend a lot of your day working sat at a desk. You may not notice these issues until they become a problem, but when they do they can become debilitating.

Our lessons are here to not only improve your martial arts technique, but keep you feeling your best self outside of lessons 🥊

Let’s talk technique! 🥊

A lot of what makes a great kickboxer is not power, but correct form and technique.

Below is a great example of a perfect cross! A cross may seem like a very basic punch, but when executed correctly it can be a powerful one 💪

Practicing these moves to make them perfect helps place the building blocks to begin to learn new things like higher grading sets and more complicated routines 🥊
