Draper Norton Football Academy Football programme delivered by two former pro footballers at Nottingham Trent Uni. For 16-18's who are serious about a career in pro football!

Draper Norton Academy represents a perfect platform from which to champion and nurture new male and female talent in football. Our Football Programme has been founded on the principle of learning by doing with the belief that to learn how to play football, players must do just that. Players will train at Nottingham Trent University's brand new world-class facilities under the close mentorship of

two former professional players, David Norton and Mark Draper. Having entered the sport as juniors and going onto play at Premiership level with a career spanning 1000 games between them our coaches not only speak the right language but it places them in an unrivalled position to impart genuine and invaluable advice on the realities of a professional footballing career. Through a combination of football and education players will be taught the necessary knowledge, attitude and skill to succeed at a professional level. We encourage discipline through participation in positive learning activities and strive to improve young people’s confidence and self-esteem whilst teaching them new disciplines and skills they can use throughout their life and future career. With limited places competition is fierce and players must take an active role in every aspect of the programme. We expect players to bring their ‘A’

DNF Reds travelled to a very good Grantham Town side and came away losing 5-0.
Although the result looks a negative, there were many positives to come out of the game and this bunch of lads have a great season to look forward to.
Attitude, desire and application was top class and development is the all important objective.
Well done guys.

DNF Blues although dominating periods of the game against Notts County Development Academy drew 2-2.

Congratulations Dan Butler for becoming the first player from Team DNF, to join us on our Football Education programme.
Dan has been involved with DNF Coaching and played for Team DNF from a young age. He now starts another journey into his full time football and education training.
