Thank you to My Nottingham for recognising the fantastic contribution Harvey Hadden Athletics Stadium makes towards athletics across the city and county. We can't wait to see the developments across the stadium over the coming months.

🏃‍♂️We have approved a £2.082 million investment to transform Harvey Hadden Stadium, securing the future of the city’s only full athletics stadium.

The programme of improvements includes new indoor and outdoor tracks, grandstand repairs, upgraded lighting, drainage improvements, CCTV, electrical works and new athletics equipment.

Used by schools, clubs, universities and community groups, the stadium welcomed nearly 13,800 participants in 2025 and has helped generations of athletes achieve their potential.

This major investment will protect an important part of Nottingham’s sporting heritage and ensure the stadium continues to inspire athletes and communities for years to come.
