Distance SUP racing is a true test of endurance, technical skill and tactical decision-making.

Paddlers must constantly adapt to changing conditions on the water, keeping up the pace for distances up to 10k.

🏆 At this year’s ICF SUP World Cup, the Distance Race course brings all of that to life along the English Riviera coastline.

Set against the stunning backdrop of , competitors will race along the coastline, heading to the turn point near Paignton Pier before battling back towards Torquay. Covering up to 8km, it’s a true test of stamina and technique.

🏁 Enter the ICF Distance Race or the more relaxed SUP Festival Race on 28 June.

Spectators can enjoy the action from the promenade, surrounding headlands and the South West Coast Path.

Over the past two weeks, thousands of paddlers and volunteers from all corners of the UK have come together to protect our waterways from litter and plastic pollution. ⁠
