Crusaders RFC are delighted to welcome Aiden Chater to the club for the 2026/27 season! 🏉

After playing Rugby Union as a youngster, Aiden recently picked the game back up following his move from the Midlands to Norfolk.

He’s since been playing Rugby League with Anglian Vipers and is now making the transition back to Union as he joins us for the season ahead. 💛💚

🔰 𝗣𝗔𝗜𝗗 𝗦𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗞𝗜𝗧𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗡 𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗔𝗚𝗘𝗥 𝗢𝗣𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗬

We’re looking for someone to run our busy Sunday kitchen from September until the end of April.

Working alongside a fantastic team of volunteers, you’ll help prepare and serve our breakfast menu while ensuring we continue to maintain the high standards that earned us our 5-star food hygiene rating.

The role is typically around 9am–2pm on Sundays, with the occasional Saturday event throughout the season.

Can’t commit every Sunday? No problem! We’d also be happy to consider a job share, so we’d still love to hear from you.

A Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate is required (or you’ll need to obtain one).

We can’t wait to welcome all of our Minis & Youth players back to the club tomorrow as we get another season underway! 🙌🏼

We’re also looking forward to welcoming plenty of new faces. If your child fancies giving rugby a go, come on down and join us! From U5s through to U18s, boys and girls of all abilities are welcome — no previous experience needed. 🏉

And while the rugby’s happening, we’ll have tea, coffee, bacon rolls and hot dogs available at the clubhouse too! ☕🥓🌭

🥘🔰 𝗣𝗥𝗘-𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗖𝗛 𝗟𝗨𝗡𝗖𝗛 𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗦

Our pre-match lunches are back for the 2026/27 season! 🙌🏼

We’re kicking things off on Saturday 26th September with a Mexican Fiesta 🇲🇽🌮, as both our 1st XV and 2nd XV begin their league campaigns at home with a double header! 🏉

There are plenty more lunches to look forward to throughout the season, so get the dates in your diary and join us for good food, great company and an afternoon of rugby.

These lunches are also a fantastic way to support Crusaders. Every full clubhouse helps us continue to invest across the club - from playing kit and equipment to youth rugby, facilities and everything that keeps our club running. 💚💛

Seeing the clubhouse full before kick-off and then that support carried out to the touchline means so much to everyone at Crusaders.

Crusaders RFC are delighted to welcome James West to the club for the 2026/27 season! 🏉

Inspired by his daughter, James has spent the last two years playing touch rugby at Wymondham before deciding it was time to give the contact game another go - some 30 years after last playing at college!

James is enjoying being back on the rugby pitch and building his confidence with every session. 💛💚

Following the RFU announcement delaying the start of the community rugby season due to pitch conditions, our revised league fixtures are now confirmed - and we’re ready to get the season going! 🏉💪🏼

And what better way to kick things off than with a 𝗗𝗢𝗨𝗕𝗟𝗘 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗘𝗥 on Saturday 26th September, with both our 1st XV and 2nd XV starting their league campaigns at home! 🏠🔥

We’ve now got the full timetable for our Village Games, with registration opening at 2:30pm and the games getting underway from 3pm! 🏃‍♂️🏉

Fancy getting a team together and joining in? Brilliant! 🙌🏼 Or if you’d rather grab a drink, find a spot on the sidelines and cheer everyone else on, that’s absolutely fine too! 🍻👏🏼 There’s no pressure to take part — just come down and enjoy the day.

Alongside the games, we’ll have:
