Our club is open to children and adults with physical disabilities. It was originally founded to give disabled young people the opportunity to take part in and enjoy sport in a fun, inclusive environment. We were proud to be the first junior wheelchair basketball team in Norfolk, previously running three teams: Under 15s, Under 19s, and a National Division 2 squad.
Due to COVID-19, training and matches were suspended. Unfortunately, a number of unforeseen circumstances meant the club was unable to restart.
We are now excited to relaunch and rebuild the club. To welcome both returning and new members, we will be holding free taster sessions.
Times and dates TBC .
We are looking for:
π New Members
Anyone who would like to train for fun, fitness, and friendship - whether or not they wish to progress to friendly matches or league competition.
π Volunteers
We are seeking support to help run and grow the club, including:
- Trustees
- Assistance with setting up and packing away equipment
- Wheelchair and equipment maintenance
- A Level 2 coach, or individuals willing to train towards a Level 2 coaching qualification
Previously, the club thrived thanks to the incredible support of parents and families of members who played for the Lowriders. We would love to rebuild that strong, supportive community once again.
We have a wide range of basketball wheelchairs available in various sizes for participants to use.
Venue: Easton College Sports Hall
The venue offers accessible parking, step free access, and disabled toilet facilities.
We look forward to welcoming you to the court! π
