Northallerton NUFC Presents… Ultra’ish
The challenge is simple, run 1km every half an hour over 24 hours all to raise vital funds for the My Name’s Doddie Foundation, which funds research and support for people living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND).
The event is loosely based on a Backyard Ultra and will be a great opportunity to test fitness ahead of the coming season.
The winner is the last person standing (or running!).
If you're already thinking, "That sounds too hard for me," don't worry. How long you stay in the challenge is entirely up to you. There's absolutely no pressure to go the full 24 hours. The aim is simply to challenge yourself, push your limits, and see how far you can go.
In many ways, it reflects the physical and mental challenges that people living with MND face every day. The difference is that they don't have the option to tap out. By taking part, you'll not only be testing yourself but also helping to support those affected by this devastating disease.
