Sheffield double header, completed it mate!

This weekend the Team NASC headed South to Sheffield, first competing in the Rotherham Metro AB gala on Saturday, and then the City of Sheffield Swim Squad Teaspoon gala on Sunday.

Superb swimming and team spirit on show, with more than a few medals to show for it competing with some of the country’s finest swimmers.

Special thanks to all who took part, who brought members and endured the poolside temperatures and finally to those that supported the team through the weekend.

🏊‍♂️ Doncaster Dartes Sprints – Session 2 Update 🏊‍♀️

A fresh group of NASC swimmers took to the pool for the second session, and the success continued!
There were more fantastic swims, more PBs, and, once again, more medals heading home with the team. 🥇🥈🥉

It's great to see so many swimmers putting their hard work into practice and achieving some excellent results. Well done to everyone who competed and represented NASC so brilliantly today. ❤️🖤

What a fantastic morning for our NASC swimmers at the September Sprints in Leeds!

There were some great swims, plenty of PBs, several County Qualifying Times achieved, and a neck full of metal... sorry, medals! 🥇🥈🥉 & Top Boy for Finley W!

A huge well done to everyone who competed and represented the club so brilliantly. ❤️🖤

The team are competing today at the September Sprints in Leeds. We're hoping for a day of fast swimming, great performances, and plenty of personal bests.

Hopefully, no foil blankets will be required! 🤣

🏊 Summer Training at NASC

Summer training is well underway, and it has been great to see our swimmers continuing to work hard and make the most of their time in the pool.

Our summer squad moves have settled in really well, with swimmers adapting to new groups, training expectations and challenges as we continue to develop the club pathway.

We have also introduced another addition to our training programme, underwater video footage. 📹🌊

The new camera setup allows our coaching team to capture swimmers beneath the surface and review aspects of technique that are difficult to see from poolside. Combined with our existing video and delayed-action replay systems, it gives swimmers another valuable way to see, understand and improve their swimming.

We continue to invest in technology and coaching equipment that benefits swimmers across the club, complementing the work already taking place every week with our coaching team.

Plenty more to come as we build towards the new season. 💪🏊‍♂️🏊‍♀️

🏊‍♂️🔥 STARTS AND TURNS WORKSHOPS, FUTURE DATES NOW AVAILABLE 🔥🏊‍♀️

After an epic first session, we are pleased to offer more dedicated Starts and Turns Workshops at Bedale Leisure Centre 📍💪

These sessions give swimmers focused technical coaching, with a strong emphasis on starts during the first part of each workshop 🚀🏊‍♂️

Our delayed-action replay systems will be in operation, giving swimmers the chance to review their technique straight away on screen 📺👀

We will also be using our camera setup, including underwater footage where available, to help swimmers see, understand and improve their skills 🌊📹

💷 Cost, £8 per swimmer, per session

Each workshop is split into two sessions:

🏊 Senior swimmers, second hour

🏊‍♂️🖤❤️ Not content with swimming all the way to London during the NASC Swimathon this week, our swimmers are back at it again today! ❤️🖤🏊‍♀️

This time, the team are in Leeds for the RDASC Summer Madness Open Gala, ready to put all their hard work and training into action against strong competition from across the region.

We wish every one of our swimmers the very best of luck. Swim fast, race hard, cheer loud, and most importantly enjoy the experience! 🌟

A huge thank you as always to our coaches and team managers, parents and of course to our hosts richmond.dales_asc for making days like this possible.
