It's been quiet over here this summer but rest assured we're gearing up for the new season!

In just over 3 weeks we will be heading over to Penrith for our first league fixture of the 2026/27 season.

Huuuuuuuuge thank you to the Oddies for helping us to raise money for our Cornwall Tour this summer!

We had a great turnout on Wednesday and have made a big dent in our bus costs!

A huge thank you to everyone who took part in last night's quiz at The Oddies!

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our customers and staff, we raised £222 for Northallerton Ladies Rugby Team Cornwall Tour. 👏

Sport plays a vital role in our community, and we're proud to support a club that continues to provide opportunities, teamwork and enjoyment for local players.

Thank you to everyone who joined in, donated, and helped make the evening such a success.

Back again for another year with our season stats!

A huge season for the team. Plenty to work on, but equally LOADS to celebrate!

Only 3 players featured in all of our games this season, with Vice Captain Gina topping the charts playing every minute of every game! Kate and Anna also featured in every game but were fortunate enough to occasionally get a rest on the bench. All three of these ladies proving why they are among the first names on the team sheet every week.

Newcomer Ellie Readman takes the title for top try scorer with 19. Ellie has been a godsend for us this season and has slotted into the 10 shirt after Ali’s injury. Add 34 conversions to her points tally and it’s clear why she’s been named player of the match the more than anyone else this season!

A 3rd place finish in our first season after promotion and reaching the semi-final in the cup is huge for us and we're so proud of how we've done.

Injuries really have plagued the team all year. Some major injuries to big players have tested us immensely but we've proved that even with a small team we've still got strength and depth across the board!

Bring on next season.

But for now, we're having a well deserved rest!

💚💛 NEW PLAYERS 💛💚

This season we were lucky enough to welcome four new players to the team. All of which made a huge impact every time they played!

Ellie Readman - A lifesaver this season with our usual fly half being out injured Ellie has stepped up to the task every game. Having scored a hattrick in her first game for us we knew she was going to be a huge asset!

Emma Thompson-Brooke - Emma joined us midway through the season as she wanted to try playing at a higher level. She has been a great addition to our back line making great impact off the bench across several positions and more recently has taken the 10 shirt and made it her own.

Beth Luck - A history maker as the first Northallerton Junior player to make their senior women's debut! Following in her parents' footsteps she’s shown real skill, class and tenacity.

Sophie Bedford - Little pocket rocket Sophie made a huge impact from her very first game, having never played before she soon made herself known, throwing herself into tackles and proving she's got pace in spades!

💚💛 SEASON ROUND UP 💛💚

Now that the dust has settled on the 2025-26 season, here's a look back at our results!

A mixed bag in the league, winning and losing in equal measure. The score lines showing just how competitive we can be at this level.

We’ve had an incredible amount of injuries to some really key players throughout the year but thanks to our strength in depth across our team we have managed to secure a 3rd place finish in our first season in NC2.

With more impressive results in the Women's Junior Cup, we made it to the semi-final where we came up against an incredibly strong Sandal side - wishing them the best of luck in their final at Twickenham, with our sights firmly set on that being us this time next year!

Gina carried on her trend of being a human battering ram, smashing holes in the Novos defence, solid work getting the ball down and presented fast to allow Trin to get the ball moving again. Solid in defence keeping home side at bay for long stints of the game.

Back - Lucy Patey

We moved Lucy around a few times on Sunday and she slotted in beautifully. Her usual try saving tackles you would put your house on her making at fullback and linking up well in attack in the centres!

Opposition Choice - Trinity Earnshaw

Hat-trick hero! Trin cut the Novos defence to bits a few times, spotting gaps that probably weren't even there and yet she sliced through them without issue, dotting down over the line 3 times! You can always count on Trin to get the forwards out the way to make sure we have fast rucks to get the ball out to the pace in the backs!

Our first season in NC2 and a 3rd place finish! An unreal year in this league, and we are so proud of every single player who has pulled on the green and gold this year. Time for a well-deserved rest!
