This may affect some of you.
Saltash Tunnel
Overnight tunnel closures (Monday – Thursday, 7.30pm – 6am) will continue until the end of the year.
We understand that overnight tunnel closures mean additional traffic on local roads, and we apologise for the disruption this causes to residents.
We're working hard to complete the remaining works as quickly and safely as possible so that the overnight tunnel closures can end..
Upcoming works
We’re updating the signage
To work safely, we’ll be working overnight with the following traffic management in place. This is in addition to the overnight tunnel closures:
Friday 2 October (12.30am - 3.30am) the eastbound on-slip on to Tamar Bridge from Saltash will be closed. A short diversion route will be in place via North Road and Carkeel. The tunnel will reopen earlier than usual on Friday 2 October at 12.30am, instead of 6am.

First ever league game for the girls today!
What a day for our first ever girls team! They did absolutely amazingly against an established team and fought right until the end.
Every single one of them gave it everything, worked for each other and never gave up. It was brilliant to watch them playing together, encouraging each other and just enjoying their football.
A special mention to Paige, our superstar scorer today!
So proud of every single one of the girls — what a first league game!
And they enjoyed it so much they’ve decided they want to enter the league cup too!
Well done girls!
