NHSOB Ladies are searching for a passionate, ambitious and inspiring individual to become our HEAD COACH

This is far more than a coaching role. It’s a unique opportunity to shape the future of women’s rugby within our city and help build one of the strongest female rugby programmes in Wales.

You’ll work alongside our 𝙒𝙍𝙐 𝙆𝙣𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙨 𝙂𝙞𝙧𝙡𝙨 𝙍𝙪𝙜𝙗𝙮 𝙃𝙪𝙗, talented volunteers and progressive committee to develop players of every ability, inspire the next generation and build a positive, inclusive culture where people come before performance.

‼️ Appeal for help ‼️

We appreciate times are tough at the moment but if you can spare anything we would really appreciate it as the price of the VEO camera will double at the end of July.

We are raising money for a VEO camera to film our games.
One of the valued members of our team suffered a fractured eye socket, broken nose and head trauma. After a friendly game this season (Graphic image of injury in comments below ⬇️)

She is making a good recovery, but it’s been slow going and having no video evidence of the incident led to no action being taken.

Please, if you can, help us to make the game safer even a small donation can help, thank you all. Our team is home to many women who are parents and their safety is paramount 💙💛

We are delighted to confirm that 𝙉𝙚𝙬𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙃𝙎𝙊𝘽 𝙍𝙁𝘾 will remain the home of 𝙆𝙣𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙨 𝙍𝙪𝙜𝙗𝙮 for a further two seasons, following the successful renewal of our
𝙒𝙍𝙐 𝙂𝙞𝙧𝙡𝙨 𝙃𝙪𝙗 𝙇𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚.

This is fantastic news for both 𝙉𝙃𝙎𝙊𝘽 𝙍𝙁𝘾 and 𝙆𝙣𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙨 𝙍𝙪𝙜𝙗𝙮, and one that we are incredibly proud to share. Our affiliation with Knights Rugby has been a hugely positive part of our club, and we are proud to continue playing a key role in the growth and development of the girls’ game here in Newport.

Over recent seasons, Knights Rugby has gone from strength to strength, providing opportunities for girls across the city and surrounding areas to play, develop, compete and enjoy rugby within a strong, supportive and ambitious environment. To continue that journey at Yew Tree Lane is something that means a great deal to us as a club.

As one of the largest community rugby clubs in Wales, we are passionate about providing a home for rugby at every level, and we firmly believe that supporting and developing the women’s and girls’ game is a huge part of the future of our sport. We are therefore extremely proud that NHSOB RFC will continue to be the base for the ongoing 𝙙𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙜𝙞𝙧𝙡𝙨 𝙧𝙪𝙜𝙗𝙮 𝙞𝙣 𝙉𝙚𝙬𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙆𝙣𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙨 𝙍𝙪𝙜𝙗𝙮.
