If you feel like you’re doing everything and your dog still isn’t improving… this might be why

More exposure isn’t always better. Dragging them past triggers and pushing through just creates overwhelm. And overwhelmed dogs don’t learn, they react

Real progress comes from slowing things down. Small wins, built at your dog’s pace. That’s what actually changes behaviour

If your dog is reactive and you’re tired of going in circles, we can help

No progress in 14 days, you get your money back

DM the word CALL and let’s get started

Really enjoyed being on the radio today - thanks for having me on and giving me the opportunity to share my experience around dog behaviour and raising awareness of the issues related to dog attacks,

I'm no longer surprised by dog attacks...

We’re expecting too much from dogs. Busy places, constant interaction - not every dog can handle that

Most of the time it’s not “bad dogs” - it’s dogs pushed too far.
And bites rarely come out of nowhere.

The signs are usually there, people just miss them.
Better awareness = fewer incidents

3 things I’d never do as a dog trainer 👇

✨ Skip the basics
✨ Rush a dog into situations they’re not ready for
✨ Punish a dog for being scared

Confidence is built, not forced.
Training should feel safe, clear, and fair for the dog in front of you.

If your dog is struggling, it’s not about doing more… it’s about doing it right.

Most people miss this moment…

Your dog looks at another dog… then chooses to look away.

That right there is the win.

It is easy to focus on the distraction, the pulling, or the reaction. But the real progress happens in the split second your dog disengages.

That choice matters.

When your dog checks out of a distraction, they are showing you they are thinking, making better decisions, and starting to choose you over the environment.

If we ignore that moment, we miss the chance to reinforce it.

If we reward it, we build it.

Mark it. Reward it. Make it worth your dog’s while to choose calm over chaos.

Small moments like this are what create big behaviour change.

Save this tip so you don’t miss it next time you’re out walking.

May has been one for the books. weddings, great company, and plenty of time spent with the four legged crew. The kind of moments you don’t take for granted.

Now… let’s see what summer brings

From “can’t switch off” to calm, focused, and settled even in busy environments.

This didn’t happen overnight. We built it step by step.

We started in quiet spaces where success was easy. Then we introduced small bits of movement. Gradually adding more distractions, more environment, more challenge. Always making sure the dog understood how to disengage and relax before moving forward.

That’s the key most people miss. You don’t jump straight into chaos and hope for the best. You teach the skill first, then build it up properly.

A dog that can settle is a dog that can think, learn, and cope with the world around them.

If your dog struggles to switch off or is constantly “on”, this is something you can absolutely improve with the right approach.

DM the word “call” and we can talk it through.

Every behaviour has a reason. It could be past experiences, habits they’ve learned, or simply the environment they’re in right now.

When we stop labelling dogs as “stubborn” or “naughty” and start asking why, everything changes. Training becomes clearer.
Communication gets easier. And your bond grows stronger than ever.

Understanding your dog is the game changer.

If you’re ready to build that kind of relationship, I can help.

Calm is not the boring part of training. It is the goal 🐾

We spend so much time focusing on activity. Walks, play, training exercises, keeping our dogs busy. It feels like we are doing the right thing.

But if your dog cannot settle, all of that stimulation starts to work against them.
A dog that is always switched on is often overwhelmed. They struggle to relax, find it hard to ignore distractions, and are more likely to react to the world around them.

Rest is where dogs reset. It helps them process what they have learned and feel safe in their environment.

Teaching your dog how to be calm, even when things are happening around them, is what really changes behaviour. It creates a dog that can cope, not just perform.

If your dog struggles to switch off, it is something you can teach.

Ever wondered how your dog will cope when a baby arrives?

Cody wasn’t sure at all. The noises, the movement, the change in environment. It all felt like too much, so he responded the only way he knew how. Barking, alert, unsettled.

This is what uncertainty looks like.

With clear guidance and the right structure, Cody learned there was nothing to worry about. Now he can switch off, settle on his place, and stay calm even when the baby is crying.

These situations don’t fix themselves. They need to be taught.

Training isn’t a one time task… it’s something you build every single day 🐾

Every walk, every interaction at home, every recall attempt is shaping your dog’s behaviour. What you practise becomes their normal.

There’s no shortcut to a well trained dog. Just consistent, clear habits that stack up over time. Start putting the work in now and watch the difference it makes.
