Sitting down doesn’t mean you aren’t working—you can still strengthen your legs and core, improve posture and mobility, raise your heart rate, and challenge your coordination and balance. Chair workouts are also easy to adapt: you can keep the movements gentle if you’re just getting started, or add bigger movements, faster pacing, resistance bands, or light weights when you’re ready for more of a challenge. The important thing is to keep moving. A chair can provide the support and confidence you need while still giving your body a very worthwhile workout.

Also thinking of family and friends that we have lost to cancer, or that are currently battling 😪.

The goal is to stay strong enough to travel, play with the grandchildren, get together with friends, garden, dance, walk, and live independently. We may not be able to control how many birthdays we have, but we can take steps every day to make those years healthier, stronger, and more enjoyable.

What a lovely morning we had yesterday! ☕️🧁

I’m absolutely delighted to say that our Breast Cancer Now Coffee Morning raised an amazing £187 just from the morning itself! 💗

A massive THANK YOU to everyone who came along, donated, bought cakes, had a cuppa, shared the event or helped in any way. Every single pound counts and I’m so grateful for everyone’s support. 🥰

And we’re not quite finished yet… 👀💕
