Studying with little ones at home? 🎓👶
If you're a student parent, the Childcare Grant could help with your childcare costs while you study.
According to GOV.UK, you may be eligible if you:
✅ are in full-time higher education (studying 120 credits or more in a year on a single course)
✅ have children under 15, or under 17 if they have special educational needs
Full-time postgraduate initial teacher training (ITT) students apply for undergraduate student finance, so they may be able to apply too.
The grant does not have to be paid back and is paid on top of your other student finance. You can apply online as part of your main student finance application. Eligibility also depends on things like your household income, so check the full details on GOV.UK: gov.uk/childcare-grant
All Learning Cubs centres are Ofsted registered, so if you're an eligible student parent, you may be able to use the Childcare Grant towards Learning Cubs sessions. Check your eligibility on GOV.UK, and get in touch if you'd like to find out more 💛
