Both teams in league action with some tough challenges against two teams that have started well so far in their respective leagues 💪🏻

MATCH ABANDONED ❌

Not the weather surprisingly - the lads were playing well in the conditions and were 2-0 up and in control, when some of the opposing teams reaction to an alleged incident caused the referee to call the game off due to fears of safety. We await the referee’s report and a panel decision by the YAL to see what the outcome of today is!

Frustrating after braving the conditions and starting well in an otherwise positively played out match

Thanks to Clayton Varey for sponsoring the match ball today, even if we didn’t get a full 90 mins use out of it I’m sure we’ll see it carry over to next week to make the most out of your valued support 😅🤩 Also thank you to R and H Murray Butchers and Farmers for another meat raffle back at the WMC, more valuable funds raised 🙌🏻

Another big game as we need to turn our league form around, against another unknown entity in Clayton AFC. Our reserves have a week off again so let’s all get down to White Lee to get behind the firsts!

Thank you to Cass from Clayton Varey for being our Matchday Sponsor this week! Great to have another local business (just about as local as you can get - just across the road!) supporting our club 🙌🏻🥊

MAN OF THE MATCH 🏆

Our reserves MOTM from Saturday’s game as voted for by our management team was .kendall09! 🔥

Isaac had a good performance even in light of the scoreline and has been a regular so far this season showing his commitment to the shirt, keep up the good work 💪🏻

There’s not enough time in the day to make an edit of each of this lad’s sponsors so a plain post will have to do.. Isaac is proudly sponsored by;
Thornber
Tom Spellman Plumbing & Heating
R and H Murray Butchers and Farmers
Calvag
Narod Construction
And last but not least cardamon at the bridge

The reserves suffer a heavy defeat on the road, with a flurry of goals conceded in the second half after going into the break at 1-1

⚽️ Scott Hibbert

Sam Whitton

A big thanks again to R and H Murray Butchers and Farmers for their donation of a hamper for another successful meat raffle to help raise funds to contribute to the running costs of the club, even managing to raise a good amount for the club when both teams were away from home 🤩

MAN OF THE MATCH 🏆

Our first team MOTM from yesterday’s cup win as voted for by our management team was hendog! 🔥

Henry helped control the midfield, often winning the ball back and starting passages of play quickly, which is what he’s done each time he’s featured so far this season! He also managed to get himself on the scoresheet too this time 👏🏻 sorry if it’s another football post for the weekend too 🫣

Henry is available to sponsor for the season, let us know if you want to sponsor him to show your support!
