Mini Muntjacs- Baby only session - 0-1year - We were so excited to welcome back our baby session this morning. We kept it undercover as unpredictable forecasts but it did not stop the babies. They explored, crawled, climbed, and relaxed in the wonderful forest… thank you for joining us & see you all again next Wednesday

Exploring Rabbits - Home Ed/flexi school session - Campfire Doughnuts - this morning we did a little campfire cooking together. We made a batter from scratch, made our Jam/chocolate sandwiches, dipped them in the batter than fried on the campfire. Once they were cooked, added sugar for the finishing touch. They went down very well, compliments all round

Woodland Squirrels- Monday - this week our theme is minibeasts! We love everything that wiggles, climbs, crawls & hides… we made snails out of clay & wooden discs, such wonderful shell designs. We had lots of books & resources out for the children & their adult to really enjoy & learning all they could about them. We had fine motor skills needed in our mud & bugs tray with tweezers & mini magnifying glass. Counting skills with the ladybug slices. Lots of fun was had today with our water, sand, swings, slack line & everything in between

May Holiday Club - day two - so much was packed into today, we had so much fun. Worm chocolate pies, whittling, firelighting, elder bead bracelets, water play/investigation all wrapped around playing in the beautiful forest. We enjoyed spending our day with such lovely children, we hope you enjoy the rest of your half term.

May Holiday Club - Day 1 - we had such a wonderful day in the gorgeous sunshine ☀️ we made campfire doughnuts which turned out just wonderful, a sugar treat to help with the heat! As the sun was shining we took advantage by making some beautiful sun prints, using turmeric as a base. After lots of playing, relaxing and a little whittling in the shade of the trees we ended the session with s’mores of course.
