Exploring Rabbits- home Ed/flexi school- today we made some Hapa Zome art using fabric & beautiful yellow buttercups. After our art we went on a small walk to find the highest growing nettles to make some nettle tea. After it was boiled & sweetened we enjoyed it around the fire

Mini Muntjacs- our baby-only session this morning was packed with outdoor discovery for our littlest adventurers! From splash bowls and an ocean water exploration play tray to a dried petal tea party, the babies had a wonderful time. They loved pairing our soft sensory toys with the natural sights and sounds of the forest. Essential early years development, right in the heart of nature

Exploring Rabbits - home Ed/flexi schooling - today we took a walk through Jobbers Wood to identify the Elder which was the material we were using in today’s craft. Once we had spotted it we took a few branches for what we needed, headed back to camp & spent time creating beads which we made into bracelets & necklaces. We also had one bow & arrow!

Woodland Squirrels - Monday - today is World Ocean Day so we set sail with Oceans for our theme this week. The rain fell, but we hardly noticed it with the children dressed in their waterproofs they embraced exciting play in the rain ☔️ we made cork boats & tested if they floated (they did!!) we ocean dipped, explored our ocean tray with fishing nets, made beautiful coral reefs. With fishing games alongside beautiful books we enjoyed our session so much

Mini Muntjacs- Baby only session - 0-1year - We were so excited to welcome back our baby session this morning. We kept it undercover as unpredictable forecasts but it did not stop the babies. They explored, crawled, climbed, and relaxed in the wonderful forest… thank you for joining us & see you all again next Wednesday

Exploring Rabbits - Home Ed/flexi school session - Campfire Doughnuts - this morning we did a little campfire cooking together. We made a batter from scratch, made our Jam/chocolate sandwiches, dipped them in the batter than fried on the campfire. Once they were cooked, added sugar for the finishing touch. They went down very well, compliments all round
