🧙And just like that Halloweens a wrap 👻
We had about 188 children & families visit Louise’s spooky forest trail. A special thank you goes out to for his creative work with our graveyard walk, gravestones were the highlight 🪦💀
We would like to remind you that you can still enter into our picture competition we will share our favourites next week where we will ask you to vote for a winner. Have a fun & safe Halloween weekend & we are excited to welcome you back to the forest for a new term next week

🎃 Halloween Family Stay & Plays 🎃
👻What a spooktacular day at Forest School! 🍂
We held two sessions today, and our little adventurers had the absolute best time. The highlights of our day included:
🔍 The Halloween Trail: Everyone loved hunting for hidden letters, cracking the secret word, and earning a well-deserved sweet treat!
🕷️ Nature Crafts: Making conker spiders, decorating pumpkins, pumpkins and hammers.
🧪 The Potion Station: Brewing up some serious magical fun.
A massive thank you to all the wonderful families who joined us. We loved making memories with you! 🧡

What a magical morning to wrap up the term! ✨ The autumn sunshine made our spooky forest trail look absolutely beautiful for the final Woodland Squirrels session. 🌲🍁
Today was packed with seasonal fun: pumpkin hammering 🎃, conker eyeballs 👀, potion mixing 🧪, Halloween tepee adventures ⛺, and cosy book reading 📚.
Thank you so much to all the families who joined us. We’ve had the best time making memories with you this term!

🎃 Spooky trail time for our Exploring Rabbits Home Ed & Flexi-Schooling session today!
The children worked as an amazing team to track down all the hidden letters, crack the festive trail word, and claim their sweet treats. 🍭✨
We wrapped up the chilly October morning by warming up around the campfire, roasting marshmallows, and celebrating a woodland birthday with a big singsong! 🪵🎂

Follow the gravestone walkway down the witch’s path to discover eerie spooks, rattling skeletons, and a mysterious ghost ship! 🏴‍☠️👻

🐰🍂 First-time chestnut roasters! 🌰🔥
Today’s Home Ed & Flexi-Schooling session brought a major campfire cooking challenge: preparing and roasting fresh sweet chestnuts!
It took a lot of patience and hard work from everyone, but we are so proud of how well the children pitched in. They tasted absolutely amazing! 🙌✨
Huge thanks to one of our children for foraging these on their walk. It was a first for Exploring Rabbits, but it definitely won’t be our last! 🪵

🪄🍁 Woodland Squirrels Monday Highlights! 🍁🪄
This week, we are creating magic in the woods! Our little ones made beautiful Autumn Wands to take home using colourful leaves of all shapes and sizes. Alongside our firm favourites, we had a blast with a giant conker run, our autumn sensory mix, and a very sweet baby’s first swing adventure! 👶✨

🐿️ Woodland Squirrels Monday Fun! 🍂
Today was all about using nature to spark curiosity, patterns, counting, and mathematical play!
Our little adventurers had the best time exploring today’s invitations to play:
✨ Playing games and making patterns with natural treasures
✨ Snipping away at our favourite scissor-cutting tray
✨ Creating stories with our gorgeous acorn people
Star Activity: Our adult-led activities was a massive hit! The children used palm drills and mushroom clamps to drill holes into conkers, creating their very own conker spiders and wristwatches! 🕷️⌚
The concentration and creativity in the woods today was unmatched. 🪵❤️

🪵 Conker Creations & Autumn Walks 🍁
After a beautiful, sunny walk, the children set to work making some amazing conker creations! Using palm drills and conker clamps, they carefully crafted their way to conker cats, spiders, and people.
It was a wonderfully fun and focused session, wrapped up perfectly with lots of marshmallows! 🪵✨
