Come and join us where Campouts began.
Back in 2024, we had an idea.
We wanted to create something that brought the CampWild community together properly. Not online. Not through a screen. Just a bunch of people heading into the woods for a weekend, sharing food, sitting around a fire and getting to know each other.
So we took a punt, invited a handful of members to join us in a little woodland in Wales and hoped for the best.
What unfolded that weekend blew us away!
People who’d never met before were sat round the fire together by Saturday night like they’d known each other for years. The kids basically vanished into the woods. We cooked, ate, drank, talked, stayed up too late and generally had a bloody lovely time.
That was the start of Campouts.
Since then we’ve taken them all over the place, but on 26-27 September we’re heading back to that same little woodland for our last one of 2026.
There’ll be foraging, a big autumn cook-up, some nature crafts, plenty of time round the fire, a tipple or two, stories once it gets dark and, if all goes to plan, coffee, toast off the fire and homemade jam the next morning.
Really, it’s just an excuse to get a load of good people together in the woods for a weekend.
Which is sort of where this whole thing started.
