Today was Oli’s 8th birthday. We’ve spent it in the Alps and found the perfect way to celebrate for a ski loving pony boy! Joering! We didn’t even know it was a thing until recently, did you?! We’d definitely recommend to any horsey lads (and lasses) if you ever get the chance to give it a go ⛷️🐎

If anyone wondered if your words helped Oli feel more confident in his love of horses, today is non uniform day at school and he insisted he wanted to wear…JODHPURS 🤣 he’s read each comment and every one has made such a difference to him. Thank you!!!

My son Oli is 7 and pony mad. Unfortunately his confidence has taken a knock recently as he’s received a bit of stick from his peers with comments including ‘riding is for girls’, ‘boys shouldn’t like ponies’ etc. This coupled with the frustration I’ve found shopping for Christmas gifts for a pony loving lad has lead me to reach out to Facebook wondering if any other parents have had similar issues?
Everything is pink and unicorns! Only supporting the old fashioned narrative that ponies are for girls!

If anyone fancies sharing anything on this note it’d be much appreciated. I’d love to let Oli know he’s definitely not the only pony mad lad and encourage him to stick with what he loves.
