We are very sad to hear the news, of the passing of Johnny Simpson.

Johnny Simpson has judged at Prospect Farm Show for many years. As well as teaching at countless showing clinics over the years. Johnny made such a large impact on many of our members helped them improve, gain confidence and fall in love with the world of showing.

We are thinking of his friends and family at this sad time.

Johnny helped out so many of our members and for this as a club we will be eternally grateful 🙏

Third show down of season 2026🐴

Firstly I would like to thank all of our competitors for supporting us no matter what the weather! It was lovely to see you all out enjoying your selves, supporting each other and cheering on one another. We wouldn't have such a great local a show if it wasn't for our committed competitors so thank you!!

Secondly, a massive thank you to all of our judges Will Le Marinel, Donna Jones, Amanda Louise Pennington and Ashleigh Jade Pennington you all have given great feedback, encourage so many young and nervous riders who have ventured out today for their first day of showing and shown them how wonderful the world of showing can be! This is what we strive for here at prospect and we truly believe in opening up grassroot showing for all to enjoy and become confident.

Thirdly, thank you to Hunter Equestrian Clothing, food van, cake stall and BHS North for your attendance and support.

Lastly, but one of the most important thank you to the wonderful show team who show up rain, wind and sunshine to help set up, organise, steward. We wouldnt have a show if you guys didnt all help I cant thank you all enough.

What a brilliant show team we have who make show day run super smooth!!!
