Our first show is pre-entries only, to enable us to check vaccinations on passports in advance of show day.

Once pre-entered you can enter more classes on the day.

On the 19th June all competitors must fill in a temperature and vaccination form which will be on our website home page.

We understand that this is a lot to ask, but it is to ensure the highest bio-security measures for all our competitors.

The Prospect Farm Show Team are all excited to kick off the 2026 showing season, after what feels like a very long winter.

However with the current local situation in regards to Equine Influenza we will be bringing in a number of temporary measures.

1. Pre-entry only. You can enter more classes on the day for the same equine providing all prior requirements have been approved.
2. Submission of temperature form.
3. Photograph of injection page/s of all equines attending, so this can be checked before show day.
4. If your yard has confirmed or suspected cases of flu, even if your horse is not showing any symptoms please do not attend.
5. If a horse is seen to be excessively coughing on the show ground, the show team reserves the right to ask the horse and owner to leave.

We understand this is a lot to ask however we all have a duty of care to ensure this outbreak is contained and not spread anymore.

We have made the finals!!

Everything we have done and achieved as a club, is down to our amazing team who go above and beyond on show day.

However, we can't forget our members who have supported our show over the past 11 years and watched us grow from 25 classes to over 70 classes on show day.

This has resulted in prospect farm show becoming a large supportive showing community in the heart of the wirral providing a safe, friendly and competive space for all ages and abilities to make wonderful memories, and we love what we do.

We cant wait for the 2026 season to kick start!

⚠️IMPORTANT NOTICE ⚠️

Equine Infectious Disease Surveillance (EIDS) have announced a total of 60 reported Equine Influenza cases across the UK as of 14/05/26.

Along with many other local riding clubs we are asking that you ensure your horses vaccinations are up to date.

As a minimum requirement all horses should be 7 days clear of their second injection - this can be achieved before our first show if you act quickly!

Spot checks will be undertaken so please ensure you have your passports available for inspection.

12th July and 16th August shows are First Round qualifiers for ‘The MCO Consultancy Ltd / SSADL London International Horse Show’ and are affiliated to the ‘Senior Showing and Dressage Ltd. National Championship Show’ held at Onley Equestrian Centre on the 19th & 20th September 2026

Our 21st June and 26th July shows hold qualifiers for TGCA Breed Association Traditional of the Year Show held 30th July - 1st August 2026 at Onley Equestrian Centre.
