💙💛 REDCAR & CLEVELAND DISTRICT U15s 💙💛

Proud to be managing the Redcar & Cleveland district U15s and excited for the season ahead.

The selection process this year has been incredibly difficult due to the unbelievable talent on show throughout the trials. The standard was outstanding, and every player who attended should be proud of the effort, attitude and quality they demonstrated.

Making final decisions was never going to be easy, and I’d like to thank every player and family for their commitment throughout the process.

We’re fortunate to have selected a fantastic group of players, and I’m looking forward to working with them as they continue to develop, improve and represent Redcar & Cleveland with pride.

After a lengthy selection process, we are delighted to announce our Redcar & Cleveland District U15s squad for the 2026/27 season.

This year’s selection was incredibly difficult. The standard at the trials was outstanding, and the coaching staff spent a great deal of time discussing and reviewing players before reaching a final decision. Every player who attended should be proud of the effort, attitude and ability they showed throughout the process.

Can all parents/guardians of players named above please contact Reece via WhatsApp on 07450 886098 to be added to the team communication group. Further information regarding fixtures, training and upcoming events will be shared through this group.

The players named in the Wider Training Squad remain a very important part of the district setup. They will continue to train with the squad and will be invited to participate in friendly fixtures throughout the season. In addition, should any selected squad members become unavailable for league fixtures, players from the Wider Training Squad will be called upon and given the opportunity to represent Redcar & Cleveland District.

Selection is also not closed. As the season progresses, we will continue to monitor players across the district and invite additional players into the Wider Training Squad where appropriate. Football development is an ongoing process, and we want to ensure that every player has the opportunity to earn a place within the district programme through their performances, attitude and commitment.

We would like to thank every player who attended the trials. The quality on display made the decisions extremely challenging, which is a testament to the strength of football talent across Redcar & Cleveland.

We now look forward to working with both the selected squad and the wider training group as we prepare for the season ahead.

Congratulations to all players and their families. We are excited to see what this group can achieve together. 💙💛

🌍🏆 WORLD CUP SPECIAL – FOUNDATION SESSION 🏆🌍

What an incredible morning at our World Cup Foundation session! ⚽🔥

Today was about so much more than football. It was about confidence, teamwork, friendship, and seeing just how far these amazing children have come.

Just a few weeks ago, many of our players arrived feeling shy and unsure of themselves. Fast forward to today, and they’re stepping onto the pitch with smiles on their faces, confidence in their abilities, and a real love for the game.

Watching them represent their World Cup teams, celebrate goals, encourage teammates, and proudly lift trophies was a fantastic reminder of why we do what we do. The growth we’ve seen from each child, both on and off the pitch, has been incredible.

We are so proud of every single player who took part today. Their effort, enthusiasm, courage, and willingness to get involved made the morning a huge success.

Football is about creating memories, building confidence, and having fun and today our young stars did exactly that. 🌟⚽

Well done everyone, and thank you to all the parents for your continued support. We can’t wait to see what the next few weeks bring!

It is with a heavy heart that I share the loss of a true friend, and great coach Anthony Renton, at just 27 years old 💔

I first contacted Anth in 2023 and asked if he would like to get involved in coaching with me at the foundation. From that moment, he took charge of the second team that come through the foundation, which has since become the current South Park Rangers U10’s Reds.

Anth was a fantastic coach who cared deeply about the children he worked with. He often messaged me about the health challenges he faced and the many setbacks he had endured over the years. Despite everything, he always found a way to keep going. No one should have to go through what Anth experienced over the last 10 years, especially at such a young age.

More than a coach, Anth was a genuine friend. He was always there for a chat, always willing to help, and always ready to support those around him. He would always volunteer his time to help at football camps, competitions, tournaments and countless training sessions, never hesitating to give his support whenever it was needed. His dedication to helping young players develop, both on and off the pitch, will leave a lasting impact on so many children and families.

The football community has lost one of its good ones, and he will be missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and everyone who knew Anth during this incredibly difficult time.

You will be truly missed by many, Anth. Thank you for everything you did for myself the kids, and everyone around you.

Rest in peace, my friend. 🙏❤️
